I started VAN LIFE because i was tired of the day to day routine of doing the same thing, same job, same drive to work, same mornings, same nights...everything was the same day after day. Van Life has been just an awesome experience since day one. This full time for me. I am in this for the long haul. I Love Van life. Its been the best choice i have ever made. I started Van life with my English bulldog names Disco. He is my hommie and my heater lol. I Built my van build is simple to show everyone that you can start Van Life with just the basics and build your van as you go. That you don't need a big fancy build to get started. VAN LIFE is closer then you think. just grab the basics you need and get started. You will figure out what you need after you are in the van. I don't have solar or battery banks, a sink or an electric fridge. I didn't need that stuff to get started. I am sure in the future at some point when i feel the need for those things i will get them. But so far i have everything i need without all the fuss and stress of Solar panel, deep cycle batteries, and a full van build. One day maybe but right now i feel at home in my van with everything i need.
I have dedicated my life right now to doing youtube full-time, i have fallen in love with the creative aspect of filming and editing. I am still learning and and grinding to make this a full time gig for me. I would love to earn enough through youtube and Patreon to be able to travel and film for you and the world everyday. To share my journeys from my prospective and to inspire and uplift my viewers to be themselves and life the life they want. To be who they are truly meant to be. YOU.

Johnny, I think that some people can be miserable in a mansion and others can be happy in a tent. Chrome and Disco are proof that it is our homes are what WE make them. With the right energy, love and enthusiasm for life, even a tent can be a awesome home! It's all about YOU and what you decide to fill your home with!
Whichever is better quality because heat and cold permeates and leaves you hot or cold. (My opinion) IF you can swing it. 😄 Looks good. Did a great job.

Ray Picard Right? Everyone says to use the spray. I am also in the Pacific Northwest and make sure it’s a dry, warm(ish) day here before trying to paint or adhere things to my van walls. Congrats on the van!

💕 Hi Chrome, the ceiling looks amazing! My next plan was to try something like what you used to adhere the panels. My living area in my van is 14 feet from behind the front seats to the back door.

Hi... Well, I think the second layer looking inside, is the best you can do because it reflects heat from the inside to the inside... but it could be that the first layer should be looking to the outside towards the metal... most of all for those who travel to hot places, because it reflects the heat right on the metal to the outside... that material has the property of reflecting infrared waves... so the inner layer protects you from losing heat to the outside and the upper part reflects heat to the outside... and the middle materia lets you have several degrees difference on the two sides, internal and external... very, very good idea... let's say it's cool...

Your insulation job looks pretty good, Chrome. I am quite thankful that my son's have offered to help me with my own van build, and that they have done them before...of which I never knew...but sure do, now....lol We weirdos missed you and Disco, too, and am glad to see that you have been doing what you do best.....bringin' the music to the masses..at them parties. My grandsons got a new puppy dog, an early Christmas surprise....a beagle named Todd....lol...and his coloring is quite similar to Disco's. Glad to see you happy and now, a bit warmer....take care and happy holidays.

I'm blessed to have a great wife and two awesome grown daughters so I'm great...I love that you are extremely positive...I'm a glass half full type guy too.. A Pastor friend of mine says..sometimes in life ....you have to give up to go up...meaning even if you will give up a big house, expensive cars, large salary and prestige (what your doing) you can change to something that will be much better! I was hoping to see you put two layers of 1/2 in foam board. One with silver side up, and 2nd layer with silver side down.
We have the same looking roofs, you and me! I used the same metal tape for all the seams and edges! Good job bro!
