We have been to Cedar City several times. Recognized quite a few of the landmarks there. The hiking trail you went on looks interesting. Glad Camper is getting more adventurous. We have traveled with dogs tent camping for years. This summer will be our first try with a camping trailer and a cat...Love your adventures, enjoy!!

Might I suggest using an inline water filter when filling your tank. Camco makes a good one. It will remove a bunch of chemicals and debris such as sand which can cause problems with your water pump and clog your faucets. Great video. Keep up the good work.

Ok Nikki, a little post workout nutrition advice. Lifting weights is a stressor to the body which coincides with the body producing cortisol. That cortisol is catabolic and will breakdown muscle. You want to spike insulin (which is anabolic) post workout to counteract the negative effects of the elevated cortisol. Post workout you WANT to eat high glycemic carbohydrates like sweet potatoes or rice to spike insulin so you don't lose muscle you already have. So eat carbs and protein post workout. Also salt is needed to delivery carbs to the muscles.
What beautiful video, thank you for that! But one thing really makes me nervous: Maybe you would like to think about securing your dog (and your stuff) while driving? He is a great dog and it would be such a pity if he would be injured or killed in an accident. (Even in Oregon they have accidents, 45.000 in 2021).

Look for an inline water pressure regulator that fits on the end of your hose that also fits snugly into the water inlet of your rig. I was lucky and found one at a campsite, and it holds the hose in while I'm filling my tank. It's so convenient!
You are looking good Nikki! I haven't seen one of your videos in a while but it looks like you are doing good with your new van. Nice weather and you wearing shorts in December in Utah has to be cold! And, you walking through water with freezing temps is just crazy! I don't like walking through water and here in Florida I'm sure it's warmer than Utah!

Cedar Canyon, and crossing back and forth over Coal Creek brings back beautiful memories. Yeah. The water is cold! It’s ice melt from Brian Head (ski resort). Drive two hours father up Cedar Canyon and you’ll begin the trek of Duck Creek, Brian Head, Bryce Canyon. Going south from Cedar City is Zion (you’ve been there before), and even more south but still within a day drive is the north rim of the Grand Canyon. They call this whole area “Color Country”, because it IS!

Cedar Canyon is amazing! There are so many amazing hikes around Cedar City. Next time you are this way, check out Parowan Canyon. If Camper is trained for hiking trails with a little height, I know of a few amazing ones!
