- Making more and more changes everyday. The van build is coming along nicely. Super pumped for everything so far. I truly think living in it before you build it is the way to go. At least spend a few weeks in the van before you start building it. Its better to know what you need before you invest all the time and money into things you may not need in Van Life.

I think the thing I like most about your van build is, in a yr or even 6 months you can switch stuff out for not alot of moola. You can have a whole new home as often as you want!!!! Great job Chrome! !!!!

Glad to see that you're spoiling yourself on the build ! I'm doing the same ! It really makes the van feel more like home. Oh! The fire extinguisher is an awesome buy! They make wonderful self defense items. One blast to the face and your attacker can't see,can't fight and can't breath! Plus, technically, it's not a weapon! Good for legal situations!

Disco wanted to make sure he got his camera time. Ha ha! I don’t think you need to explain everything. It makes total sense that you would want your home to be comfortable and appealing for you and Disco. Just because you live in a van doesn’t mean you need to be a hobo. Having that extra room in the back will make travelling with your daughter this summer. You can take the cabinets out and make room for some bedding to give her some space. Awesome video as always!
At your next visit to Ikea look for a drawer sock separator to use for your cups and glasses. Candles...and a fire extinguisher is a great combo !

Have you considered adding a swivel base to one or both of the seats? Ive been watching a lot of TH-cam video on how to do it. Our next step on our van. Love the cabinets!

Im planning my next vacation and I`m gonna rent an under 20 ft motorhome to test myself on travelling with my home on wheels.
Still not sure if I would prefer a small motorhome or a car+ caravan future ...since I`ll be travelling through Europe with It and plan to visit urban places with very narrow streets. I`ve been saving for a decent time now so I would try to start debt free. I`m a freelance interior and industrial designer... I design multifunction furniture for small spaces but I could be working on the Moon if I had my computer and Internet , so the place I live does not matter. PERFECT for the mobile life!!

We all make our choices...some hurt and some not as much, if ya know the bike guy, huh?....lmao. Sometimes we have to decide what kind of "cool ride" is more important.....a cool ride up a bike trail in the mountains, whenehvah we wahhhnt....lol...or a cool ride to have a life in, all pimped out, Chromee-style....I think ya made the right choice and it's so weird how it all worked out.....lol It kindah looks like a "Cool Cruisin' Condo", dudn't it?......lol. Van looks great! Love the side panels..Wouldn't change a thing. How has your van been engine wise? Have you had to put a lot of money into it in order to maintain it? Obviously, the body is in great condition and was wondering how the engine is treating you. I'm thinking about buying used also.
