Watching strongsage stream his Vaxee Four matches was super entertaining. Chain would give him instructions on how to approach certain matchups, and how to approach items/powerups situations....and he would just forget and just go +forward, make a mistake, and be like "whoops sorry I forgot". It was as if he was getting hyperfocused on each combat engagement and couldn't step back to the strategic portion

I would love more 2 vs 2 duels as a spectator. I kinda grew tired of watching duels awhile ago....hard to pinpoint when. I never play duels at all...I only play TDM, Sacrifice, CTF, and Clan Arena...the team play modes. Nothing against dueling, just not my thing. I did used to watch Tox duel a lot, but that was closer to when QC first became playable. I honestly wanna watch two equally matched, pro level team modes...but seems no one agrees with me on that. It is so much more exciting and fast paced imo, and just as tactical. CTF is amazing when two equally matched teams come against each other, both to play, and spectate. One wrong move ruins ya, just like 1 vs 1 duels. Maybe one day I will be skilled enough my opinion matters lol. I am getting there...still improving though lol

I think the reason duel trumped team modes in competitive play is that the quake team modes are a bit of a clusterfuck to spectate, you might disagree but duel is much more easy to follow as a spectator
