Just got my 2020 G20 330i xDrive in mineral grey metallic. Just got it tinted today. Looks amazing. This is my 4th bimmer and by far the coolest and nicest. 👍🏼

Nice video! You forgot to mention the ambient door lights change to pulsating red when you open the door at night to warn other road users. Very cool safety feature.
I'm glad they've updated the interior a bit. It's maybe not the most interesting to look at but it's much better than it was. Lighting is also nice. Get mine in March 330d x-drive in sunset orange. Fancied a bit of a change in colour from cars I've had before. Hope I've made the right choice coming from a B9 A4!
Sunset Orange is a great colour. I like how it shows off different shades of orange and red under different lighting. @@DownShiftThrottle We'll just stick with "different shades of orange" as I don't do red haha. Went from BMW to Audi, now back again. Felt a lot better than the 08 3 series I had so I feel hopeful it's the right choice. Engines aren't available with Audi now and it's a second facelift so be nice to have a change :0)
Nice one....it was a tough one between Portimaou blue and the Mineral white. Went for white because I like how all the black compliments it....but everytime I see the blue......daaaaym!
I own a 2018-340i Alpine White. I like the door when u open it, the MBW Logo project on the ground and you can change it to a different design like BMW or ///M. It also has a ambient lighting but just two colors, I like this new one though..

The lights make a real statement but i only wish that i could switch off/on the lights when i want rather than them being automatic as this feature gives me no control.

just bought my 320i (G20) occassion in sunset orange with black optics. Thank you for your extensive review on the lights. Mine is equiped with standard headlights but I most probably will upgrade to the LED lights or Laser if I can get them for a nice price... :) Thanks again, take care!

With the headlights, how do you make the two inner headlights to come on? I seem to be only able to get the outer ones to come on. I’ve read that the inner headlights are fake and don’t light up. In your video sometimes they are off and in some shots it looks as though both inner and outer are on.
I thought I was weird for this BUT please tell me this car has reversing and fog lights on both sides, not just one? I can’t see BMW cheaping out on something like this but I am just curious. How do the headlights perform? I have multi beam on my E class cabrio and they’re fantastic. Just ordered a 4 series and worried the standard Led lights will not be good enough but the £1500 upgrade is hard to swallow. Is the high beam assist any good?
Good looking car. Proof BMW do stil make good lookers. Not a fan of all the interior jazz lights, but inside and out, the car is awesome looking. Going to make me jealous when the new M3/M4 come out as I just got an F82 M4.
Hi. Can you tell me the difference between the adaptive led lights and the laserlights? Do the adaptive led lights block out part of their beam when driving? Thanks
The LED adaptive lights bend around corners and apply the beam when no traffic is ahead or oncoming in very dark unlit roads. It doesn't block out the beam. Laser lights are more advanced with brighter lights and beam further down the road. I think they can also block out the beam around traffic. I have matrix headlights on the Audi A7 which is similar to Laser Lights I think.
I have the F30 328ix post facelift. I don't have the front last headlights but do have the LED rear lights. I don't understand the use of daytime running lights. I keep them deactivated. Though when I do see other BMWs with the running lights (laser) turned on during the day they look cool, but serve no function of course especially here in sunny California where it's very bright and sunny. If anyone can justify keeping them on with a legit argument, I'm willing to listen ☺️.
Hi, I just purchased my g20 yesterday, mineral white, tech, m sport plus and premium pack. Beast of a car! I really like the look of the welcome light curtain but I don't have one, there's a plastic casing in its place. I called up bmw and they said the light is on hold until August 2020. Did you get yours as standard or was it a optional extra?
Great to know your car has arrived. With regards to the "Light Carpet" it's a standard feature. Its probably a part that is supplied from China to be fair

Well....I have to give a balanced view. It's not a press car it was my own so really I should be allowed to talk about the things I like and things I find annoying based on my previous cars. It's a great car overall.

Couldn't agree more the rear lights are very unique for BMW. They have nailed it in terms of design with the 3 series/5 series/8 series

Tansanit blue with black front kidney grills and the blue features in the laserlight is a winner for me.

Everything looks amazing, however I wish they did the backlighting of the buttons and switches in a white color instead of the orange/red color
They are white during the day and orange during the night

It will not engage any gear whilst the door is open.

I think it is but it's a waste of time, its superlaggy, and its huge. You'd rather use the BMW connected app which offers the same features ....

You can by putting on the side lights.....but why.....they're fog lights for foggy conditions right.

No, those are the laser lights. These are adaptive led headlights

Thank you. I strongly stand by that engine oil and filters as a minimum should be changed every 6000-8000 miles or annually. Common sense.
