- Alongside the launch of the new Troy Lee Designs D4 helmet, we had the opportunity to spend some time in the TLD Paint Shop, and get an exclusive look at the hand-made artistic mastery that goes into each custom helmet. With patience, paint brushes, airbrushes and a lot of masking tape and steady hands, these craftsmen turn dreams into wearable art.

Got to spend some awesome time with Jay (Troys head pinstriper) at a crankworx! Super stand up dude, his level of work is absolutely mind blowing!! Being a life long moto guy as well it was a privilege to be able to talk to him about some of the helmets in his portfolio!

The Air series produced around 2009 were absolute classics. I have one and wish I could collect them all. Cmon TLD, bring out more like those!
