That helmet turned out sooo #SICK !! . What I plan on to do with it , is to use it as the base color scheme of my Surron X build. Will be getting my neighbor to paint the frame and accessories based on this video to match the helmet. That would be #SICK ! 😎
I BREATH-LIVE WOOD!!! Literally... i am a carpenter/shaper, i build hollow wooden surf/sup boards and live in Madeira (WOOD) Island. In the Middle of the Atlantic Ocean. Back in the days we would mimic WOOD on painted kitchen cabinets almost the same way. What a great looking Helmet to Ride downhill on my Rockhopper!!! Another great job ETOE.
This helmet will look so #sick on my head and you will see me wearing this helmet in bike parks in Germany, Czech Republic and Poland. Hard work, passion and profession make this helmet a work of art in which it is worth being recognized in bike parks.Great job Martin
I just love this one from Martin! The paintjob is easy to understand, the theme is simple and the finished job just beautiful. It's a matter of taste with these things; personally I love this type of look. It's simple, classic and probably something you never get tired of looking at if you actually own this little piece of art.
I like the fact that you are explaining every thing that you do to make us understand better the mystery of costom painting. I would use that helet to get the confidence of learning new tricks and look like a fashion mtb groot:))
The beauty of creative brain to do such a unique design and we need to protect the precious brain on it.Excellent job pal.your art definately inspire so many riders to keep in cycling industries moving forward.
Such a #SICK ( 11:12 ) Video. The helmet looks so insane! I would love to advertise your cannel by wearing this helmet 😉😊. Wow much time did all those details take?! Absolutely crazy!
Martin Grey is a #SICK artist. I will wear that helmet year round, even in the summer heat of Arizona, as I shred at the local hot spot. I'll be the talk of the town and everyone will know me as the guy with a woodie.
Hello Martin ( @ETOE), another great work from your workshop! The details are just amazing, it's not just regular piece of wood people would find in the forest. This right here is piece of wood that doesn't get to be burnt but shredded! Anyways, #sick design you made here will all the small details. I especially love the Fox logo with wood grain. You nailed the design as always!
Nach wie vor, egal ob mit haushaltsüblichen Material und Werkzeug, sodass wir es nachmachen können oder professionell von A-Z. Alles was deine 4 Wände verlässt ist absolut #SICK !
The paint job you have done is beyond #sick, it’s nuts to be honest. So much love for detail, really loving it. The helmet would do the job what he supposed to be, protecting my nut in the local woods. 😅
This paintjob is #sick crazy as always. I would just use the helmet on MTB (if ever will get one) that preferably will be also custom painted for wooden matching. Till then I can still use it for road bike :D
SO #SICK ! Really enjoy your content and sharing your skills/techniques! If I won this shell, aside from protecting my noggin riding the steeps in the PNW, I'd add termites and other creepy crawlies breaking through the wood patterns! Add a bit excitement to the already incredible design! So cool!
Another seriously #SICK job ! As always attention to detail is pushed to the limit. Well, what would I do with it to answer your question ? Probably enjoying it first of all, and then obviously taking in on the local French trails. Maybe a bit of show off with my friends haha ... Could also be a nice way to be recognizable among other riders during enduro races. I'm currently trying to paint a POC helmet inspired by your methods, but it'll probably not be as good as this one... Anyways, great job !
this helmet is #SICK ! I've stopped mountain biking because I've got nervous about hitting my face. This helmet would give me to confidence to get back out there!
I wood wear this #sick wooden helmet, at the local ski resorts Slide and Freeze, riding a self built pallet wood raft. Great work Martin you nailed it!
The paintjob is so #sick. Would love to have the honour to wear it down my locals trails and get people excited about it ( and myself ngl). True piece a art, but one of the few you don't wan't to hang on a wall. Meant to be riden hard, I might not be the best but I will give it all !
That's a #sick paint job! It reminds me of the TNT wooden crates from Crash Bandicoot! If I was lucky enough to get picked I would wear it everywhere! For starters, I'd wear it to bed, I'd eat my meals with it on, I'd go out with that helmet on, I'd drive with it on, I'd definitely would ride my bike with it. Can't be too safe out there!
DH season is starting this month here in South Africa and the Enduro season is soon to follow. Having this helmet "wood" look #SICK out on the trails! Awesome job as always Martin.
This is the first time I come across one of your videos and I fell in love with your #sick work. I would love to ride on French roads with this wonderful helme . keep it up, great job and I register directly
This is absolutely #sick amd unique as well. I would display on my house but will use ot from time to time for special occation only. It would be a great conversational piece. Excellent job.
Incedible how much work flows into a custom paintjob. this one turned out sooo freakin´ #sick mate! I´d love to wear the helmet on my first local enduro race.
That's pretty #sick. I'd wear it on the local DH tracks where I've started hitting some bigger gaps. What better to protect me from trees than a wooden helmet?
#SICK how much effort you spend. We can see that you love what you do. I will use the helmet in Sauerland MTB parks. Hopefully this year the first time with my son 😊
Martin, you never disappoint with you custom paint jobs. This wooden paint jobs is absolutely #sick, I would be proud to be the owner of the magnificent piece of art and I would ride and race with it with pride! Can't wait to see what you come up with next. My favorite so for was the Wolf frame, now that was #sick
With a one heck of a masterpiece. Being passionate and currently loving the downhills, this would be awesome. Nevertheless, keep the paints rockin'!!! 🤘
That’s a #SICK HELMET! Fantastic work as usually! I would use it for GNCC (Grand National Cross Country) racing where I would blend in with all the trees I have to dodge 😁
Never seen a #sick paint job like this in a helmet before. Awesome job, patient with the detail work. It would motivate me to recover from my recent heart surgery, to get fit again and ride as much as I possibly can. Life is precious
Man, your painting skill is #SICK. I would remove the tv in my sitting room and place that helmet instead. Btw, following your tips I went ahead and removed the paint of my Scott Scale and clear coated it with no colour underneath, thanks a lot!!
@Etoe great work #sick. Thx for sharing you knowledge and your patience of explaining the details additional listing the product being used. I’m really inspired and want to try and paint a helmet using your guidance. I mountain / road bike and I would love to grow my collection of custom helmets. 😊. I can’t wait to watch your chrome video 😉
#sick is right. This is true work of art. Almost too nice to wear but we paint bikes and biking accessories to used for their intended purposes. I would use this as my park helmet.
A word for this helmet is #SICK! I will shred this helmet everytime I will ride my bike to work or to school. And maybe I would try to paint the wheels of my bike the same way. But it probably would look as good as this helmet. Great job!
Hello Martin, thanks for your entertaining style of videos. Your artwork is excellent, this one is especially #sick. This helmet seems best to show off in a bike park, which should most certainly be done! But just to ride the comfortable stuff, pushing the limits needs to be done without a canvas full of art in Louvre quality wrapped around my head...
I think that helmet looks #SICK!!! I am very impressed by the detail you put into it and the amount of time you spent on it. I do not think I would have the patients as I sit here to make something like that.
That helmet is so incredibly #sick. It´s crazy to me how you can make stuff like that every video yet always seem to do something even better every time. Always thought a wooden look helmet would #sick and it definetly does. Great job. Never won something so I don´t have much hope but it´s still such a cool helmet. Amazing work like always
Martin, this actually is a #sick paint job! Never seen anything like it before! Would be amazing to do a frame like this too! Just wow! I'm a little obsessed with camouflage, so this would be an incredible addition to my stealth woodland riding gear.
That helmet turned out sooo #SICK !! . What I plan on to do with it , is to use it as the base color scheme of my Surron X build. Will be getting my neighbor to paint the frame and accessories based on this video to match the helmet. That would be #SICK ! 😎
#SICK the helmet has become very good! It really looks like real wood👍. I bought the new commencal Supreme v5 for the coming season and would be curious how the helmet fits the golden suspension!
I've been trying to add some of your #sick techniques to my various projects. I have a 1:24 scale dragster body that has been telling me it wants to be wood grained. I'm gonna get to work on it following this to see how it goes. Wood love to have this lid on my helmet shelf as a momento.
Uff.. your talent is truly #sick Martin! I checked your IG as well, and hope all is well. I would display this piece of art in my home, underneath the “Return to earth MTB movie poster from Anthill” would be the perfect combo. I’m Suffering from mental health problems ,so i like to decorate stuff at our home that keeps my mind at ease, and in this case: The remedy is obvious, go biking! It keeps me sane, my bike.. Keep up the good work, you have a great talent but most important take care of yourself and always do it from passion. Cheers Dave
This paint job is absolutely #sick I would love to have this amazing unique designed helmet to protect my wooden head while hammering down our local trails!
Hey Martin, es ist ist so #sick, dass aus der Region, aus der man selbst kommt (weitläufig, aber im Internet sind wir quasi Nachbarn), so talentiert und daraus so geilen Scheiß macht. Keep up the good work und vielen Dank für alle Tipps, die du uns gibst. Ich würde dem Helm viel Liebe und Wertschätzung schenken. Je nach Größe fahren, oder eben einfach in nem kleinen Schrein ausstellen! Hau rein!
The custom helmet looks really awesome. You almost didn't see the #sick on the red bar🤣. I would give the helmet to my girlfriend's brother for his 16th birthday because he loves MTB riding and is starting his apprenticeship as a forest ranger (Forstwart lehre) in the summer.
This Helmet Martin it's the #sick est hand painted helmet that I have see. You overkill it as always, it's so natural I love it 😀 😍. Good luck to everyone !!!

Well done Martin, This is #sick. I have been airbrushing Remote control car bodies for years, but have never had the guts to try paint a helmet for myself, Getting this would give me the inspiration to finally try my own. Thanks as always for the great content, You have already inspired me last year to custom paint my daughters balance bike. Thanks
Hello Martin been a fan since i saw your video on the redbull helmet with spraypaint. This Helmet is #sick and to be honest i probably wouldnt use it that much if i won it because i like it, its sick... but i also like to crash abit when im doing any bike riding motorbikes included wich is my main sport. so id have it out on a ride or two on the cycle but then id like to have it on the shelf in the workshop (where i spend most of my time) and it would make a good company to my other FOX R3 helmets. All the best Ludde
despite the ultra #sick looks, protecting yer bonce whilst doing silly things on mountain bikes is what it would best be used for right - and ofc sporting it loud and proud😉... also kudos for your vids, not only entertaining, amusing and informative, they inspired me to successfully fix the front mech hanger on my son's carbon framed Trek Emonda (hanger was loose/damaged by previous owner, removed rivets, patched the rear with a long pole like you did with a Scott, then "plugged" the rivet holes using chopped tow, sanded carefully, re-drilled, epoxied and re-riveted- noice!) 👌
Love this! I don’t have a biking helmet so I would use it while riding my local trails. #sick design ETOE, thanks for the chance to win some of your work!
Nothing matches up to this , it's literally a piece of art ,I'd be the model showcasing this #sick piece in the tails and streets of eldoret ,love ya 🥰
Wow, this is amazing! Martin you are very good, the helmet is #SICK. I just got a onewheel gt and have been trying to learn to ride it with the intention on taking it trail riding. I have been shopping for MTB helmets for the last week or so and this would be so much better! Nice job.
This is a #sick helmet!! Im building my first 29er proyect for the next competition season and it would be realy #sick to have a new helmet for a new bike in the opening days
Hi Martin, in Spain it used to say that to be lucky you have to touch wood. With this helmet I dont know if my luck will change to better, but sure i'll be happiest
#sick I would use it as a pinocchio on a bicycle It's great to see how you're creating a better painting than the one I already had, the helmet is beautiful, but finished it looks better. I always watch your videos you are the best. A hug from Chile
#sick just like the helmet. I'm thinking of sending my downhill bike to be custom painted like that haha. The helmet would only be used in special sitiuations and it would be photographed million times. It would also get an own place to wait for special situations. also could get an own instagram page.
Next round of my GIVEAWAY GOODNESS! I have a brand new FOX RAMPAGE DH helmet for you! Just comment with the hashtag shown in the video and let me know what you want to do with the helmet. Als Modellbauer und Mountain Biker finde es sehr schön anzusehen die unterschiedlichen Techniken Hobbytechnisch ineinander übergehen.
Wood grain is #sick, i have to say the Matte finish really sets it off and makes it look like real wood, great job!

Wow! Super awesome! With this helmet, I would turn my self into the God of Bikes, riding to eternity with it!
despite the ultra #sick looks, protecting yer bonce whilst doing silly things on mountain bikes is what it would best be used for right - and ofc sporting it loud and proud😉... also kudos for your vids, not only entertaining, amusing and informative, they inspired me to successfully fix the front mech hanger on my son's carbon framed Trek Emonda (hanger was loose/damaged by previous owner, removed rivets, patched the rear with a long pole like you did with a Scott, then "plugged" the rivet holes using chopped tow, sanded carefully, re-drilled, epoxied and re-riveted- noice!) 👌
It would by fun to "use" the helmet once and then use it as a garage showpiece.
Maybe with some #sick ledlighting.
Wow, this is amazing! Martin you are very good, the helmet is #SICK. I just got a onewheel gt and have been trying to learn to ride it with the intention on taking it trail riding. I have been shopping for MTB helmets for the last week or so and this would be so much better! Nice job.
Taking this through Arkansas new trails would be so fitting! It’s #sick
This helmet is #sick!!! My son is a big fan and made me super interested as well!! Nice job 🤗
#sick I would use it as a pinocchio on a bicycle
It's great to see how you're creating a better painting than the one I already had, the helmet is beautiful, but finished it looks better.
I always watch your videos you are the best.
A hug from Chile
That is one #sick helmet I would love to rock that this summer at the bike parks
#sick just like the helmet. I'm thinking of sending my downhill bike to be custom painted like that haha. The helmet would only be used in special sitiuations and it would be photographed million times. It would also get an own place to wait for special situations. also could get an own instagram page.
