Today we join Adam and the lovely Mrs. Koralik as the check out various John Huges movie sites along with other Chicago sites of interest. They also check out the childhood home of Michael Jackson in Gary, Indiana. Happy Holidays, and Happy New Year Adam. This video was very SURREAL.
This was awesome bro awesome too see all things you showed and im just going to watch Planes, Trains and Automobiles I never seen it before so thank you
I went to Loyola Academy in the 90’s and during my freshman year a junior threw a party at the home alone house. All of us did everything we could to get in. That day in retrospect reminds me of Superbad (not as funny but easily the greatest party moment of my life).
I feel like I have to see these places now. I live too close, so I have no excuse. It's funny how snowy it was on Halloween, whereas today, on Christmas, it's warmish and rainy. You made the right choice to film it when you did, lol.
been kinda under the weather so had to wait til christmas day to get around to this one, but man it was quite.... surreal to see all those locations, haha. happy holidays and happy new year we'll see you on the next one, whenever that is!
@@AdamEatsTheWorld thanks! yeah I'm already on the mend the wife just has a little bit of a cough (she always gets it worse w/ the immune system stuff) but she sends her thanks as well. ^_^
Hey Adam, not sure if you are already aware or not, but your main channel has been hacked and a bitcoin scam is currently livestreaming on it. Hope you get it back and under control soon!
I saw the "new live stream" and was like what the hell is this, Is he on this stream tryin' sell me BTC or something than I notice the channel was gone, Hope you can fix this Adam...
Basically, Sears (the department store) built it to make the tallest building in the world. They eventually moved out of the building and sold it. It ended up being bought by a company in New York. Said company in New York was trying to attract people to move into it. A British company called Willis were willing to move in under the condition that they could change the name. The company in New York said yes. So, effectively, a British company was told by a New York company they had the right to sully a massive piece of Chicago history. Which we all found insulting and intolerable. The Willis company went out of business shortly after they moved in, they literally don't exist. But their idiotic name is still plastered across the building.
Fun Fact about Maine South High School is that Hilary Clinton was a member of its first graduating class in 1965. Also is that the only high school you went to? I thought you said you grew up in Wisconsin (As you said in the Xbox and Xbox 360 episodes about the infamous Shrek Guy).
Believe me, I know about her going there. She actually visited us when she was first lady. No, god no, I did not grow up in Wisconsin. My uncle had a cabin up there.
@AdamEatsTheWorld Hoping for the best, I wouldn't even know where to start with that with how terrible TH-cam support is. The whole situation blows ass but know that you aren't alone in this.
Not gonna lie, its sad when people who own a house that was in a movie, people endlessly flock to said house. Especially when people trample all over the place to the point they have to gate their property.... And people wonder why the owners of the Night of the Living Dead remake farm wont let people come film around the property.
My man went to Gary at night and lived to tell the tale. Also, the missus is correct-there's not much to Indiana. It's a pale comparison to Chicagoland.
Every time I drive to Chicago i get excited once i start seeing the skyscrapers because 2 of my favorite movies were filmed there, Batman Begins and The Dark Knight. I always feel like I am entering Gotham City.
Never clicked on a notification quicker in my life
John Hugh’s was one of the greats of the 80s, I’ve seen almost all his films the breakfast club is my favorite
This video will be fun for you then.
Finally a video of your state.
Thank you Adam, as a John Hughes fan I appreciated it!

Loved seeing all the cool sites by you. You and the Mrs. look so happy in this video. It’s adorable. Pretty random to see Michaels childhood home.
I aim for predictably random.
Papa Chris’s still across the street from the leaning tower!!! ❤❤❤

Glad you liked it!
So awesome, buddy. Great share.
Thanks for all the videos throughout the year. I was happy to see Chicago finally get an episode. Happy new year to the both of you.

7:35 Al Capone IS out there somewhere. The gravesite actually lies Elvis
So now you're just filming people's houses? Lazy lazy lazy.
Epic.
Hey man. Sorry about your main channel. I've been a supporter for 7 years. Hopefully you’re able to recover it.
No wonder why CosMc’s opened in Chicago first. All because of the Starbucks Reserve place.
Well, I doubt that had anything to do with it. They're no where near each other and McDonald's is based in Chicago.
I was just at the house for new years
Actually the interior shots are a different church then the exterior shot
I'm only giving you two Gold stars for your over use of the word Babe.

Why are you against the name of the Willis Tower?
Do you know the history of the building?
