Greetings from the UK! This is one of my fave Christmas movies. I have heard that the people living in the movie house really dont like people looking at it which is really sad. Of course people are going to want to look at it! A lot of people have fond memories and grew up with this movie. Great work guys!

One of the comments on here says the owners will sometimes turn on their sprinkler system if people are standing (outside the gate) looking at the house which is ridiculous!

We agree with you on that for sure!!! Also hate it when they don’t want people to look at it and try to hide it behind a large fence or bushes or get mad that you’re there which they do at some movie houses but not this one. If you buy a movie house expect that people are going to stop by and take a look at it sometimes!!
John Candy actually told John Hughes he would appear in Home Alone as a favor. He could have shown up and not received one penny and he would have been okay with that.
@@McAndrewTravels me too, he was a legend. If you’re ever in California you should check out Bass Lake where they filmed The Great Outdoors with him and Dan Aykroyd. Bass Lake is east of Fresno on the way to Yosemite.

The owners don’t deserve any respect - they are purposely changing it so it wont resemble its 90s look. My theory is people should be more disruptive so they move out then the next owner will be someone who respects the movie and changes it back

We just did that we went to park, store, bridge with train going by, ice cream store, and house at night to see it all lit up. Was so cool
I hate when they change things on movie houses I think once a movie gets made at a house you should never change a damn thing about it!!
