    He was a harmless soul. She was a lucky lady he wasn't a nasty piece of work and did something very untoward to her. This could have been a very darker story.He actually did the crown and government a favour as it exposed the weaknesses in the Royal security.

The Royal Family may not represent the average UK citizen but they do their fair share for the economy and foreign relations. There's a whole spectrum of privilege. To you, the royals may represent people living in a fantasy land. But to a homeless person, you represent someone who has everything they haven't. (Unless you're homeless, which I assume you aren't.)

    He was local to Angel, Islington in the late 1980s. Someone pointed him out to me in the pub. I passed him at night on the street. I was staring & he spoke to me briefly, ingenuously. Michael enjoyed his fame immensely. He was with a pretty young blonde, i remember thinking she wouldn't be with him unless he had become a form of Royalty himself. The papers dished the dirt on him but that stunt had set him up for a life-time of free-drinks, birds& public love.He'd discovered a security breach for them, in the end., without being a nutter who would have killed the Queen. That is why he was not persecuted except by the press.

    you can't help but admire the way he managed to sneak in and out so easily the first time without getting caught, and I'm sure people who are either somewhat mental or jobless like him must also admire Michael, I'm sure few people like Michael have wanted to talk with The Queen but just never had the guts to actually sneak inside Buckingham Palace

  • @DaveFisher-cq2dr
    @DaveFisher-cq2dr 4 ปีที่แล้ว +1

    ever since that day you'd think a number of people over the years would have asked him questions like: "what was it like to be in the presence of The Queen?", "what was it like in her bedroom?", "what did you and The Queen talk about?", "was the queen real mad at you for sneaking into her bedroom?", etc. or even "do you have any idea how the entire country and the world would have reacted if you laid a finger on The Queen?"

    I think to a certain degree, it's hilarious. While I do feel sorry for the Queen who must have been really freaked out, I think it's great that she actually sat chatting to him for 10 minutes, while they waited for Police to arrive & he actually got to do something loadsa people would love to do, chat to the Queen!
    Please note: I'm a Brit & have a family full of police officers, so know how things work. When this happened, it was all over the news here & there was a whole documentary on it. The Queen tripped a silent alarm in her room & sat chatting with the guy as she waited for the guards to come. He was arrested & sent to a psych ward under section. Any more stupid comments about this not being true will simply be deleted. Kinda sad that I had to add this.
