    🧡 You are blessed by The Almighty God & The Blessed Beauty for your great service Dear Mr.Dunbar! 💝"The All-Knowing Physician hath His finger on the pulse of mankind. He perceiveth the disease, and prescribeth, in His unerring wisdom, the remedy. Every age hath its own problem, and every soul its particular aspiration. The remedy the world needeth in its present-day afflictions can never be the same as that which a subsequent age may require. Be anxiously concerned with the needs of the age ye live in, and centre your deliberations on its exigencies and requirements. Bahá’u’lláh

    Excellent... "We term it death only because of our short sightedness. A more proper term would be 'a more abundant life.' it is a forward step we have taken." ~ Shoghi Effendi, Lights of Guidance, Baha'i Faith

    Such is the inebriating effect of the words of God upon Him Who is the Revealer of His undoubted proofs, that His Pen can move no longer. With these words He concludeth His Tablet: “No God is there but Me, the Most Exalted, the Most Powerful, the Most Excellent, the All-Knowing.” Glwanings

    The aboundance of Baha'i Writings has been described by its Prophet-Founder Baha'u'llah as " ‘a copious rain’ by Himself, whether in the form of epistles, exhortations, commentaries, apologies, dissertations, prophecies, prayers, odes or specific Tablets." ~ Abdul-Baha, Baha'i Faith

    There are different types of suicide for different reasons. It is imperative that people suffering and people treating understand the causes and conditions of what causes death by suicide.

    Two things that perplex me about the Bahai view of the afterlife. Baha'ullah says it is not allowed to know everything about it. And he goes on to say that, after death, the soul progresses until it meets God. . . . Does that mean that everybody goes to heaven in Bahai?

    • @katherenewedic8076
      @katherenewedic8076 4 ปีที่แล้ว +3

      Yes and no. The next world is similar to this one, in how souls congregate. Continued spiritual growth is possible. There are stations of spiritual development to progress through, just as here but without physical form. I think of it as states and conditions of consciousness.

    • @tanalong8452
      @tanalong8452 3 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      Well as I understand it, HEAVEN & HELL are conditions not places. We are here to develop spiritually. That world is a world of light, all though in this world, we are physically mostly water; exposure to this world seems to change/taint our water, through prayer & fasting we may get GOD to purify our sins, aka, wash the taint away, through forgiveness of our sins. The purer the water the deeper the spiritual development may go. Similarly, in that world a purification process would make sense, however, this is MY personal Opinion & Not from any SACRED WRITINGS, but merely my humble & limited understanding. Praise GOD, THE LORD OF ALL THE WORLDS!

    • @tanalong8452
      @tanalong8452 3 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      Heaven is being purified until one reflects the TRUE LIGHT OF GOD; HEAVEN IS DIVINE KNOWLEDGE. HELL is the burning guilt of all you failed or missed and the opposite of TRUE LIGHT! Some day all our questions will be answered, according to my visions, but I am human. ALL PRAISE BE TO GOD , THE LORD OF ALL THE WORLDS!

    It does not mean that if People who know many languages are scholars and if they do not, they are not.
    No relation between the two.

    This is a Baha'i scholar who does not know either Arabic or Persian !!!! What a scholar !

    • @hamzahjameel147
      @hamzahjameel147 6 ปีที่แล้ว +4

      He speaks Persian - not sure about Arabic. But he studied and speaks Persian. Get your facts right.

    • @NaserEmtesali
      @NaserEmtesali 6 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      Can we hear him in Persian? Any evidence?

    • @hamzahjameel147
      @hamzahjameel147 6 ปีที่แล้ว +2

      I don't know what he was saying, but... why does it matter? He's a Universal House of Justice member. And, a retired one. Right now, he's just any other person. In fact, define Baha'i scholarship. The Universal House of Justice made it so clear that we need to embody a wide scope for the definition of a "scholar".
      There are so many Baha'i scholars who know Persian. Todd Lawson? He speaks Arabic, even. Moojan Momen?

    • @NaserEmtesali
      @NaserEmtesali 6 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      That matters because these people (westerners) only know about a maximum of 11% of Baha'u'llah's writings that are selectively translated by the Haifan UHJ.
      What are the contributions of Todd Lawson or Moojan Momen? How many of Bab's or Baha's writings they have translated? Can you share some links?

    • @hamzahjameel147
      @hamzahjameel147 6 ปีที่แล้ว +3

      Not sure about Momen. But, Todd Lawson made huge contributions in trying to understand the Bab, especially his Qayyum-al-Asma: bahai-library.com/bab_qayyum_asma.
      Also, "selective", I agree. Why should we translate Suriy-i-Hajj if no one CAN do the Hajj to Baghdad or Tehran? Why translate the Bayan if the laws are abrogated? Why translate Kitab-i-Badi' if it is a response to Azal and Azalis are a very small minority Baha'is would probably not encounter. We are getting started. That 11% is full of quality translation. No manipulations. Even if you do see "manipulations" they are based on the interpretation of Abdu'l-Baha. Nevertheless, the originals are there. Baha'is should study the originals if they wanted and as someone who speaks Arabic - and is studying Persian - I think the translations are rather accurate; they translated the meaning, they are not literal. I am mentioning these because I know you will bring them up that the translations are not precise, bla bla bla.
      Anyways, it was a nice conversation. Just a humble question: were you ever Baha'i?
