I was born catholic, converted to islam now agnostic for at least 10 years. I didn't hear this religion before until i am planning my itinerary for my upcoming trip to Israel. I've seen this amazing Bahai temple and gardens in Haifa on travel vlogs. I got curios what Baha'i is all about. I watched a few docus I am astounded by what I've learned about this faith. Although I am no longer religious, I strongly support the Baha'is principle. Prejudice is the number cause of hate, inequality and violence. I am hoping to visit this place in January.
Such a powerful documentary. I cried from the depth of my heart. How much the world needs this message of love, brotherhood, and peace. We are all one family. How could we deprive ourselves from answering yes to God's eternal voice calling us to unity, love, and justice?
I was very happy to see the segment on the Baha'is of Liberia. I was in Liberia from 1976 to 1988 and as the secretary of the NSA wrote to the UHJ seeking permission to construct the radio station. This radio station was built at a cost of $250,000 and covered the whole country whereas USAID built radio stations in the regional areas costing $4 million each and only covered the regional area. When a member of the American Embassy enquired how we managed to cover such a vast area, he was told that we run on Baha Power.
In April 1890, Prof. E. G. Browne, Cambridge Uni., met Bahá’u’lláh. He wrote: "The face of Him on Whom I gazed I can never forget, though I cannot describe it. Those piercing eyes seemed to read one's very soul; power and authority sat on that ample brow. No need to ask in whose presence I stood, as I bowed myself before one who is the object of a devotion and love which kings might envy and emperors sigh for in vain." Bahá’u’lláh stated to him: "… That all nations should become one in faith and all men as brothers; that the bonds of affection and unity between the sons of men should be strengthened; that diversity of religion should cease, and differences of race be annulled - what harm is there in this? … Yet so it shall be; these fruitless strifes, these ruinous wars shall pass away, and the 'Most Great Peace' shall come... Let not a man glory in this, that he loves his country; let him rather glory in this, that he loves his kind."
Not sure how I stumbled upon all this, but I think it was meant for me to see it. Great video. Thank you! Thanks for the comments too, good to see enthusiast (Baha i) , atheist, and christian involvment . - Bahai by nature...
"His reason for putting on the heavy iron chains and for becoming the very embodiment of utter resignation and meekness, was to lead every soul on earth to concord, to fellow-feeling, to oneness; to make known amongst all peoples the sign of the singleness of God, so that at last the primal oneness deposited at the heart of all created things would bear its destined fruit…" - Selections from the Writings of Abdu’l-Baha
There is a Creator that is why on our planet we have five million species of living beings, all designed by a superior intelligence who I refer to as God. And now we have the Bahai Faith which will remove racial and religious prejudices. I love the writings of Baha'u'llah who wrote at least 100 volumes of inspiring writings.
Bahaullah wrote to the rulers of the world in 1860 to bring about the Kingdom of God on earth all ignored Him.If they hadn't we would have had the most great peace on arth at that time.He wrote to Kaiser Wilhelm.."We see the banks of the Rhein covered with Gore, and you will have another turn...We see the lamentations of Berlin, though now she be in manifest glory...He was predicting 2 wars which Germany will be involved. Abdul baha said Europe is like a powder-keg,it need only a sparkle to set it alight..."war 1He said this in 1912.The war 1 started with the assassination of the arch Duke in Sarajevo. Bahaullah gave instructions of what countries should do to avoid war. He said if one country against another then all other countries should arise against and destroy the government of the aggressor together. Also the martyrdom of the bab is amazing. It is as significant as the crusification of jesus it is in bahai.org.A good read.
The Baha'i Faith... Dynamic Spirit with modern social thought. "Proclaim unto the children of assurance that within the realms of holiness, nigh unto the celestial paradise, a new garden hath appeared, round which circle the denizens of the realm on high and the immortal dwellers of the exalted paradise." ~ Baha'u'llah
"A new life is, in this age, stirring within all the peoples of the earth; and yet none hath discovered its cause or perceived its motive." (Baha'u'llah, Gleanings from the Writings of Baha'u'llah, p. 195)
Christ, Buddha, Krishna etc. etc. - These Messengers of God are a New Level of Creation. "… the moral and ethical world and the world of spiritual regeneration are dependent for their progressive being upon that heavenly Center of illumination. It gives forth the light of religion and bestows the life of the spirit.." - Abdu’l-Baha, Baha'i Faith
I would probably be a Baha'i ... if ... if ... I could just believe in God and all of that stuff, but ... I don't think I can. Otherwise ... nice religion.
My friend, it is not about believing in the Baha'i faith, it is not about believing anything. That is where religion is wrong, God is about surpassing belief. To know God is to believe in infinite possibility. Not to believe that I am right, and you are wrong, but to believe that you might be just as right as I in your own way.
Investigar y encontrar la verdad de los escritos bahaís, su historia, su escritos, es nacer de nuevo, encontré la verdad sobre la religión, una medicina a mi alma, y el gusto de compartir con amigos esta maravillosa revelación.
Baha u alla is one who is relatively new but his religion has an old message. One of unity. He asked questions that have been asked ever since the world began. His message encompasses all three faiths of Christianity, Judaism and Muslim. What a nice concept that all are correct. and there are many ways to God. I am a Christian and Jesus said, "I am the way, the truth and the life, no man comes to the Father except by me." The Bible is the linchpin and authority in my life. It may seem narrow minded to some, but Jesus is the son of God. He was killed for his preaching but he rose and is alive. Bahualla is not alive, He is dead, so is Mohammad. Bahai is a wonderful way to see the world. Bahualla seemed to not bother anyone, yet he was cast into prison and suffered for his faith. For that I am sorry. Many of the religions and cults of this world have a dark side. Does Bahai have a dark side as well? I am going to find out. I think the communist way of thought is probably a dark side.
I have not seen this and it hones the relevence of this great new covenant in these times to an edge. this edge is such that in all the earth's days there has been no like of it since shyaykh tabarsi
Universal for all. One God, one religion, one language, no racism, no prejudice.... Only love

I'm a 4th generation Bahái, how proud I feel to be a Bahái and feel so deeply touched by the history of Bahá'u'llah.

I'm a baha'i, believe in Baha'u'llah message for our age. The three Oneness(one God, one religion and one mankind)

I am a Bahai and I really like this video. I wonder when this movie was first made? God loves humanity and sends His love to us through Baha'u'llah.

Such a glorified illuminating personality the world hath ever seen. Such a mighty Revelation the sun and the moon hath ever witnessed.
Thank you from a christian orthodox

Alla'u'abha!
Really well done with a simplified historical story.
I am glad to see such a video!
I am delighted this is being seen. It's one of our very best introductory videos, but I don't know if it will be re-issued.
Thank you very much, it is beautifuly done. Thanks again.
There is no secret but with world encompassing measures, justice will rule for all.
God is my witness and verily He is the self susbsisting

Belief is an act, not a feeling. Do you believe in these principles? If so, you are already a Baha'i. Bless you!
religion is ONE
Complimenti...video ben fatto...sono una credente bahai
