The "daisy in the environment" easter eggs are tragic because they're meant to be The Doom Slayer hallucinating the last vestige of any kind of genuine love he was able to share with something, but it's kind of hilarious to think about it as the locations reminding him of things he was doing when taking care of her. I love this game. It has so much fan service and is so well designed and really shows the dedication of the dev team to please the fans. It warms my heart to see all these little details added to the game, it's something that marvel and DC really need to take into consideration.
After you jump off the Hell Barge at the start of Hell on Earth, first building you enter will have a bunch of posters hanging on the wall. One of them is a missing dog poster that says, "LOST DOG; Last seen with a branded swordsman. Goes by the name, Gryffin."" This is a reference to Berserk, the story of a branded swordsman named Guts, and his quest to kill demons. The dog is a reference to Guts's inner voice of rage and bloodlust- the Beast of Darkness- that manifests itself as a wolf. It's name is a reference to the main villain of the story, Griffith.
Keens skull and helmet is only there because Slayer took it with him from his trip to hell in the last game. I mean it is his bloodline after all. One of BJs descendants is Billy Blaze and one of his descendants is the Slayer.

Idk if this counts as an extra or not but on the same bookshelf with all the references to different books and games in the slayers room, you can find book titled “How To Comb Your Mustache” by Clifton M. Fischbach which is a request of Markiplier put in by the devs in honor of his dad

I think the hidden message at the end was used to catch cheaters i managed the get " i.. see you .... i see you cheating.....leave cheater."

I love this game. It has so much fan service and is so well designed and really shows the dedication of the dev team to please the fans. It warms my heart to see all these little details added to the game, it's something that marvel and DC really need to take into consideration.
After you jump off the Hell Barge at the start of Hell on Earth, first building you enter will have a bunch of posters hanging on the wall. One of them is a missing dog poster that says, "LOST DOG; Last seen with a branded swordsman. Goes by the name, Gryffin.""
This is a reference to Berserk, the story of a branded swordsman named Guts, and his quest to kill demons. The dog is a reference to Guts's inner voice of rage and bloodlust- the Beast of Darkness- that manifests itself as a wolf. It's name is a reference to the main villain of the story, Griffith.
In 4:43 one of the books has the logo of DOTA 2 yeah if you didn't notice it. It's the pale red book
Keens skull and helmet is only there because Slayer took it with him from his trip to hell in the last game. I mean it is his bloodline after all. One of BJs descendants is Billy Blaze and one of his descendants is the Slayer.
The retcon. Flynn taggart was fucking hilarious, I read those books right up till I found out the demons were aliens taking the shape of nightmares from the human race. Thank god good old Flynn was retconned again

How were we supposed to know the password to unlock Doom II was "FLYNNTAGGART"? Was it hinted at or revealed in the game somewhere?
Theres a reference to Mario Cart right before you storm into Haydens compound by destroying the tentacles. In the area with the giant gate and purple sludge with the car gate and overturned bus, theres a sign that reads “Marios Carte; Try out Mystery Boxed dinner!”
Have you tried reversing the secret message or putting it through a spectrogram? Possibly both?
