This hits home sooo badly. Back and even now when this song is present in ALMOST every horror video. Nostalgia hits hard.
Funny when you look through the comments and people are arguing about silent hill series compared to undertale or Fnaf when really they aren't even in the same genre. Yes fnaf is a horror game but not in the same class as SH. And undertale is an RPG, it's not even a horror game, and if people consider that horror then they need to be re-educated.

I love this version. Really captures the beauty and ambivalence of the song and SH2.
This is nostalgic for me, because it was used in czech minecraft horror movie that is 7 years old.. I think this music is one of best on ytb.

I am in love with Silent Hill, but, there is such a small amount of people who truly understand it, and even notice it. And the horror games now, are just kind of trash to me. Silent Hill, is a classic, TRUE horror, you can't find any other like it, and en I you did, the people who made it at just copying Silent Hill. Silent Hill is its own. Not copied. Not suggested. It is its own horror, it own diementon (idc about spelling at he moment). You see FNAF and Undertale mixes, if you tried to do that with Silent Hill, sham on you, Silent Hill CANNOT be mixed with anything! Like I said, because it is its own, it would never fit in, it would never work. So all I'm asking, it to please, give this game and movie the love, and attention it deserves. You will NEVER find ANYTHING close to this work of art, this masterpiece, so please, just try to understand it, love it, and give it its attention back.
If it wasn't for the original Resident Evil game, Silent Hill wouldn't be existing since Konami wanted to compete with their own kind of horror genre against Capcom's surviving horror game. So if there wasn't a competition between Konami and Capcom, Silent Hill wouldn't existed. So in a way, Silent Hill was inspired by Resident Evil. Not that I'm saying Silent Hill copied off Resident Evil, since that would be a joke, but nonetheless, Silent Hill is a great series thanks to their origins.

It's good you did this, overdone or not, because you definitely did it MUCH better. The reduced tempo, instrumental variety, and effects absolutely make this version stand far out from the others. I heard this version through TheLostNarrator, and literally spent an hour or so looking for this afterwards. More than worth my time. I feel like I could have this playing on a loop behind my life at times. Relaxing and entrancing, with that tender and flexible air of spook to it.
It's very rare when they keep the feeling of the original while enhancing upon it's foundation. I hate when they just interrupt the melody with random bits of trap music, or "EPIC MUSIC ORCHESTRA" without carrying the tune.

If you're saying to me that FNaF and Undertale can beat this, there's something wrong with your head. Because there's no way a game about sitting on your ass and trying to defend yourself from animatronics and wannabe RPG horror could beat games like THIS. There's just no possible way, not even once. Yet, people still give attention to the 2 games more than THIS. Like seriously, where's the good ol' horror games alright? Where? All I'm seeing is just bunch of FNaF inspired games and RPG horrors that tries to copy Undertale but just end up being cringey. Like I mean, what the fuck happened to the horror game community? Why is Undertale and FNaF a craze but this isn't anymore?

I don't understand the crazes either they are both overrated, Even though I do love Undertale as a game for what it is it could never hold a candle to a franchise that has inspired many of the great survival horror games. Silent Hill captures a sense of true horror and unsettling nature.

I am fan of both Undertale and Fnaf, and i can confirm, this in fact is better than the both of them, the problem is, Silent Hill is not relevant anymore,and for obvious reasons, the most recent decent games take over instead of the amazing old ones
