When rolling the chapos after kneeding..Ile roll ya kwanza when applying oil..add some flour to the chapos before rolling it into a round shape....it will make your chapos raruka Kama layers ya kitabu..try and see

@@sarahawuor8238 yes....this will help coz if you apply oil alone minus the flour when rolling the final roll Chapo itashikana and there won't be any layers..it's like the way we add flour when making samosas pockets to separate them after pre heating...if you don't add flour si ziushikana...but if you add floor ziuwachana...same to chapos

Before covering the chapatis apply some oil around the dough so that it doesn't stick on the aluminum foil or even cling film whatever you use

First timers like us need a point of reference. Then as you try it more times, you learn how to feel and taste for the right amounts instead of measuring and aslo customize to your own preference.
I think it's a good idea to give measurents where possible because a newbie would not know where to start.

I used to ask that too but I learnt there is no perfect water amount.add water kidogo kidogo as you kneed.first days you will put too much water but with more practice u find yourself ukiweza kupima maji
