After the brilliant stay at the Westin, we commenced our trip back to Pune on a wet Sunday morning.

We decided to try our luck with NH66 this time, and boy were we blessed. The roads were well made, and passed through the beautiful landscape across the Konkan. Since the whole highway has not been completed, the toll booths were not yet open, and traffic was sparse.
Route-
Anjuna - Tiracol - cross the Goa border - continue straight on NH66 - take turn after Kharepatan onto state highway 114 - Pachal - continue through Anuskura ghat - Malkapur- Narayanwadi- Karad - NH 48 to Pune
