Nice Vlog with details on the route via Anushkura Ghats,this looks to be way better than the most used route via Amboli Ghat and the alternate Via Chorla Ghat - Belagavi. Eagerly awaiting the completion of NH66 from Panvel to Goa , once completed this will reduce travel time between Mumbai - Goa & would also be a very scenic route to travel on.

Even we are eagerly for NH66 completion!! The current stretch which we took from Oni is really in good shape!!
This weekend we traveled to mumbai from Goa via phondaghat and radhanagari road to kolhapur, the roads are brilliant and there is decent vehicle density even at 2am so no worry about loneliness

We had bad experience. Actually we crossed anuskura at midnight 1 am. We were 3 friends was going kudal. Each one of us experience different things. Later we came to know we experienced chakwa. Such a different experience. Never believed such things, but after experiencing unusual things by this route started believing those stories.
Ohh.. that real scary to hear !! Someone commented on this video only, that they crossed around 2 am and it was safe !!
Recently I travelled to Goa via NH66 - Refer to my latest playlist of Coastal india. We crossed Kashedi ghat around 12 but did not experience anything.
Previously had heard lots of stories about Kashedi but this is first time hearing about Anushkura!!

Best road for mumbai goa route . it is excellent road . the other road from pachal to NH 66 goes through my village which is also an excellent road. except travelling from oni . i am from kankavli sindhudurg 7:07 . 90 percent people travelling to pune mumbai from sindhudurg district and goa travel by this route .

Anuskara ghat night drive is not advisable as its lonly, better to take gaganbawada or amba or amboli ghat.
Amboli ghat is preffered.

Have you ever experienced low tyre pressure warning when riding into cold places? I recently faced this issue on my Slavia and couldn't figure out why first
Normally with temperature drop, the air inside tyre gets colder & hence contracts. This reduces the tyre pressure and hence you might have received the warning!

Ghat ma first gear ma utarte ho kya meri automatic hai amt punch mere first time ma halat kharab ho gai thi 4th gear ma utri gadi tab mujhe manual karne ka nhi pata tha 😂😂😂 ab engine breaking ke sath utar leta hu manual par first gear ma 😂😂😂
Mai bindaas 3rd me utarta hu. Ha automatic (AMT) me gaadi ko pata nahi chalta ki downhill hai. Switching to Manual mode best hai !!

I still consider this Anushkura route to be the best for Goa. Though it has lots of twist and turn, but still road conditions are great !!

Mumbai -Goa night drive k liye kaunsa road prefer karna chaiye..which one is safe ghat??
First of all - Anmod ghat is not open; so wo out of question hai.
Baaki, south Jana hai to Chorla PE Maine night drive Kiya, crowd Kam rehta hai thoda but no issues.
North jaane k liye Anuskura me aapko achhe raste milenge and it will be good.
Mera suggestion hai, Mumbai se 10-11 pm start Karo and by the time anuskura ghat ayega sunrise k around hoga; that's best

Normally konkan Jane k liye me Gagan bawda ghat use karta hu for day traveling.. but this time I want to try Anuskura ghat for Goa.. as your suggestions I'll plan my journey at 9-10 pm from Mumbai bcz I also want to avoid ghat traveling in midnight..! At what approx time I'll reach at Anushukra ghat if I start my travel at 8-9pm..Thanks!
If you go non stop, you should reach there around 5 am.
Anuskura is narrow but beautiful, you will enjoy

Hey guys, thanks for putting the effort in videos. I really liked how you travel! I was thinking of traveling from Ahmedabad to Goa for coming months. I don't know much about the route from Mumbai to Goa. If possible can you give me guidance about the route without ghat?
Thank you!! All depends where are you planning to land in Goa.
For North Goa, there are mainly 2 popular routes -
1. Amboli ghat
2. Anushkura Ghat
Amboli was earlier taken by most but due to road construction the road is irritating before the Ghat patch!!
The alternative is Anushkura Ghat, and the roads are really good. Now the only shortcoming in Anushkura Ghat is Roads are narrow and have lots of twist & Turns (gets difficult for people with Motion sickness). So if you are a driving enthusiast and need good roads. It's Anushkura Ghat to North Goa
If you are traveling to South, there are 2 main ways - Anmod ghat & Chorla ghat.
Both roads have bad patches. To detail -
1. Anmod - Faster than Chorla, Sanctuary part is in bad shape but it's under construction. This road is closed between 6pm & 6am. Normally, I prefer this road as the ghat part is is good condition and bad patch is manageable
2. Chorla - only patches of Ghat has some big potholes - so need to take care of that. Road is slower compared to Anmod but it is open 24*7
Unfortunately, there is no road without ghat !!
