Loved this change for the chaos 9 going straight to 300 really sped up a lot of the game for my second account catch up
It's redundant because you have to c8 your gear which costs a lot of money. I used to do this.
I rarely do grind it out to get APs... But I did this after mere days after the C9 was reached.
It was expensive af, but overmaxing my health and having to spend the rest of those points on other stuff is pretty lit.
On Barbarian, it caps off a lot of his stats. Mostly stance costs... But still, you wanna stance-dance? You gonna have plenty of slow resource burning stances. Plus the health and DPS is gonna be truckflipping strong.
You wanna DPS/Ability Superpower/Tank through baddos? You got it.
Just uh... Don't go too heavy into C9 upgrades if you are just gonna sacrifice it all in Ancient Resets. It'll waste gold, medals, and materials.
It seems to me that everyone should do at least 1 AP reset just for the Ascension points. Then gear up from there for the other game modes.

So if I use the ancient power thing my players loot will reset but my ascension level will go up?
I still feel a little sad looking at that polearm and thinking "if only purge evil still existed". Pretty handy to know that C9 maxes the caps though ty.
In a way it does through rippling explosion shard. But, that's just a cheap imitation. Lol

as a 300+ AP resets player i suggest to do the "free" resets at least, use the chaos 8/chaos9 expedition trick untill i think like 50resets, you hit the most useful APs at around 30resets already, rest ist just quality of life, but none of APs are mandatory at all. exp bonus is nice to have, but asc is capped at 50k anyways, gold bonus is useless beyond like 100resets at all. but keep in mind, AP grind is a long ride, average of 4-6hours per reset.
Just a hint, your first AP should be on life steal, provides way more quality of life than just like 5k dps from the defence power%.

@@pontaurus2953 wie juice im video erwähnte, es genügt inzwischen den jeweiligen gearscore for chaos 8(7850) bzw chaos 9(9850) zu erreichen, 1x die entsprechende expedition zu spielen und anschließen direkt zu resetten. chaos 8 entspricht floor 99, chaos 9 floor 300, bis 32 resets reicht chaos 8 bereits aus, da der highest required floor niedriger ist als die expedition dir bringt, danach für etwa 20weitere resets wird c9 fällig. ablauf wäre dann wie folge: resetten - gearscore aufwerten - expedition 1x finishen - resetten. würde aber empfehlen den ersten reset überhaupt nach c9 zu starten, um 3k asc gratis zu bekommen, c8 wären nur 1k asc, wie im video gezeigt.

no need to upgrade anything except the tower you will be using just to get to C8 and reset again

So im a newer player and im just getting into AP resets. I see people with 16000 ascension levels and stuff like that but im noticing that the ascension levels that the ap resets give me are dropping off tremendously after the first reset around like ascension 3500. I reset as fast as i can and i saw you recommend that in a different guide but im not really sure on how to get that ascension level to keep going up. Im assuming im just not at the point where i get an ascension level that high yet but itd be nice to know sooner rather than later if there was something else i was supposed to be doing along with my ap resets or something in order to keep going up
Every AP reset gives you a 5% gold and experience bonus permanently on your account. The people you see with super high Ascension Level have many many AP resets which makes it pretty easy to climb. For example I have 72 AP resets which is no where near the top folks. Yet I can still quite easily get 100s of ascension levels per day just through normal play. There is no easy / fast way past your first reset, it's all a matter of grind.

After going to chaos 9 once do minimum resets till you are done with AP.
I have done this without knowing I did this. Is it best to get Guilded for the main towers before I ascend? I have been grinding out the game and been told a couple times in us west that I need to ascend or why have I not. Now I am still not sure if I should or wait until I get my 2nd new hero from grinding dailies.
It's better to have gilded shards for ease and money saving. Rule #1 though, don't ever let anyone tell you when to do an AP reset and take your time and plan it out first. Going past the 1 reset for the ascension caps is completely optional. You make the call, ignore everyone when it comes to this!

If you were to have a dps join your maps would you prefer a wave clear dps or a boss nuke dps

Most people Ancient power way too early and they end up quitting.
To do ancient resets is yes to yes had to be carried, but is best thing, cuz gold is still no enough, i am in 55 resets and still not enough lol

should I go to chaos 9 and then reset or is it better to go chaos 10 and then reset. Is it worth to wait until chaos 10 and what is the deference? 8:30
You get no benefit from going to Chaos 10. So reset after 9 for sure.

hey I have a question, I saw your videos from 2022 and I was surprised that your monk already had so much HP even though you didn't even have your first rebirth. Has something changed or why does my monk not even have a life of 200k?
There was a stat squish reducing all damage / health.
They destroyed all the work the grinders put on to max asc by doing every floor
It's a catch up mechanic. The majority of the "grinders" from back when it was a massive grind no longer even play the game. Free to play games need fresh players to continue on with the product. Keeping things the old way would shut the game down.
Yeah that happned to me when c9 came out so i just played a c9 map solo and finnaly beat it i lost like 20 times lol 😞
My 1st solo c9 map was excruciating! Lol
Died like 30+ times. Occasionally making it past 1 more wave. Finally beat it, tho! Lol

I played my first chaos 8 map and didn’t realize it automatically puts you to floor 99 so I thought my game was glitched

Thank you for explaining the unwritten rules for the new players who wants to get carried. So many times I've tried to host a public c9 room and it gets filled up but only 1 person usually helps while the other two just sits and does nothing.. Doesn't even drop mana for upgrades.. Played ember mount volcano and couldn't beat the Phoenix as I was not able to really upgrade defenses
That etiquette is actually also true for lower chaos tiers. It would be useful in a beginner tutorial.

Do chaos 9 first.
Being ready for it would entail: Guilding shards, getting a good chip setup on your gear so you would just need to upgrade it using materials and gold. And of course gold. lots and lots of gold.

Not at all, ideally you spend zero gold and just use junk off the ground to get your Champ Score up. The Meta would be using an alt split screen on consoles or dual boxed on PC. Going through and upgrading things is the hard / expensive way.
So, once you do a single AP and decide not to pursue it, you are stuck at 333 permanently? :-(
Not even sure what you are talking about. You clearly hate the AP system, as you constantly reply to me about it everywhere. If you hate it that much then don't do it, pretty simple. I have ignored huge mechanics in many games I have played because I don't like them. Max ascension caps is max ascension caps, not even sure what you mean by stuck at 333?
There shouldn't be a chaos 10 coming out. With no development going into the game to resolve issues with chaos 9 or alleviate the problems from the games fundamental problems chaos 9 was effectively the nail in the coffin for the game. This is of course putting aside the fact that the company seems to have no interest what-so-ever in working to produce a quality product and instead focus on putting out lots of unpolished poorly thought out garbage in the hopes that (like Lost Ark) they can just make piles of money without making a good game. I hope they release the toolkit for dd2 so I can fix it for them but I don't see them doing that after they realized what a mistake it was in dd1.
