Ironically after watching this video, I finally actually earned my first chaos 8 victory. Years of playing this game and I had never progressed due to way too much focus on auras. (Never used pdts before) I had been on and off of this game because I had never progressed, and in my recent return in this game I learned so much: how to maximize on range, rate, and power, how to petrify (yes I didn’t know about poison+earth) and the split in this game about auras and towers between the different chaos enemies, this series has been a phenomenal help trying to get back into the game with modern guides!
I've been kinda following along with these videos and I'm at the same spot you are in this series now! Thanks so much for the help! These videos have been a godsend for me (As a relatively new player to DD2).
I have to say c8 is really hard for newer players to master so you did an excellent job with the few things you had. This play through will be a huge help to many new comers
Man I followed you the whole time, and it helped me greatly, up until this point. When I try your method for chaos 8, i just get overwhelmed imidiately. I tried different maps, and I don't have the frostfire remnants. Guess I need to minmax already to stand chance in chaos 8? I mean I have the shards, I have some semi-decend mods, but I just get crushed in matter of seconds.
Love your content Juice! As someone who doesn't play much I love seeing you in these situations I can relate to. I will say I feel like shielding guard was a big missed opportunity here. Since you probably don't think of walls in most cases it likely isn't top of mind for you, but the benefit is there especially if you had a wasted shard as mentioned. That being said the number of things I learned versus could share is astronomically in favor of learning lol
Hey! Know I'm late to the party, but could you do a choas 9 also? I'm like lvl 540 and feel like the only option left is is to ascension but don't know it that's what I'm supposed to do.
i dont know how you do this i do the same defense setup with the same shards but i only survive wave 1 than they defeat me and my monk do less damage and have only 90K life and your monk is mutch stronger and have about 600k life
I just got to chaos 5, most of the time i get spawn kill or unable to attack the die :3 and the siege roller just slowly go grind my core : )) That 90% health reduction realy huge. Now i know why all the video i see, all heros have huge amount of health and survive to kill that assasin : )
@@kimsebimse6603 True. I think he's been getting alot of requests to do this series since there's been a few updates recently. Nothing game changing, but enough to make people want this series. Who knows what's next, tho!
@@danielisle2542 hmm true.. its been so long though with that DD2 series that i have considered just un-subscriping lol :D but i feel bad doing that since his guides for OMD3 has helped me so much in the past :) i dont play it anymore but still.. oh well..

C8 just becomes the point where you have to really start putting in work. It is very active there.
What you talked about doing is what I did without knowing what I was doing. Now I am grinding shards then the other things
I had to grind for so long to get those 10/10 mods so I could beat C8 solo
I guess you didn't really have to :P But...Always fun getting those 10s!

Also i dont deal that much dmg as u do and i have items from ch8
How do you have 600k health?? I can’t get past 70k at this stage
This was before the stat squish. Player and enemy health was reduced by 90%. SO this would be 60k today.
