He didn’t know the show was popular or would be that popular, yet tried to do his best and respected the vibe the regular cast had amongst one another. Most people when they talk about guest staring on Seinfeld say they hated working on the show because the team was so tight nit and made it very hard to fit in

It could be so simple like Keanu and Halle are walking through an airport or something and Bob walks the opposite way and Keanu's like "Hey Hutch" and Bob says "Hey John". Halle follows up with "who was that?" Keanu: "Nobody". Bonus points if the scene is in the sequel to Nobody too but follows Bob's perspective. Please for the love of God let this happen.

    It is actually amazing what he (and Gilligan of course) made with BCS. • @supertoyg
      @supertoyg 2 ปีที่แล้ว +43

      Technically speaking, Breaking Bad as a whole was likely easier to write than BCS. BB is mostly a bang-bang crime story where the central character has an interesting development arc, most of which happens in the first two seasons (unsurprisingly the less popular ones - it got popular when they added more bang-bang). Whereas BCS is a series of character studies that slowly evolve into a crime story, almost as an accessory, an afterthought. People will remember BB but BCS is the real masterpiece, and I hope they manage to finish it once Odenkirk gets well.

    I’ve watch breaking bad about 4 times. It’s one of the only shows on TV with excellent character development, excellent plot development and gives a slow anticipation that breads and excellent story line.

    Gawd, I love him so much. A "comedic" actor that has proved to be one of the most skilled artists in evoking emotion with no words and breaking the viewer's heart with a monologue.

    Bob Odenkirk is a great actor and Jimmy McGill/Saul Goodman is without a doubt his magnum opus. I hope the writers can stick the landing with the final season and the finale.

    I spent years not watching Better Call Saul because I thought it would be boring. Boy, how WRONG I was! It's such a fantastic show: beautiful performances, engaging story, great characters and writing. Just as good as Breaking Bad for sure.

      Yes same here I kinda had a feeling that there was no point watching the show without Walt's drama. Only then I realised Saul was the progonist of both shows and Walt was just an annoying guy who destroyed everyone.
