What was Honda thinking using bolts instead of spring tabs, or other quick release, to hold the filter cover? The bolts are tiny, easy to break, easy to lose.
true, the real problem lies with over-tightening these bolts. Because they are a hex head in addition to the phillips, they are too easy to over tighten.
@@brianaustin1328 , agreed, I didn't break it my self. I was at Jiffy Lube, look into the bay, and there is a guy up in the hood with a giant crank wrench and I knew something bad was happening at that point.

I broke my bolt, I want to know how can I put the new blot in? The upper hole is smaller....
Not sure. I got a new (used from junk yard) air box as I couldn't get the broken bolt out.
