This is the car of choice (right down to the color) for most Uber drivers in the Seattle area. Every time I see one of these in this color, I almost automatically assume that it belongs to an Uber driver.
i do like the prius...but no i am not a crazy ecologicalist or tree hugger..i am a normal guy that likes this car...dont have to love it...but i like it and specially the new gen..yes it looks terrible in the front but still i do like the prius and the new gen felt so good when i rode in one that served as a taxi in las vegas
@@nodak81 yes, looking at it 3 years back I guess I wasn't totally right. Fact is: Hybrids are quite reliable. Problems can be maintaining them on the long run, cause where I live, not all mechanics could fix hybrid cars 3 years ago... But I'm glad, things are getting better now. So, fully, i understand your point of view, and I totally agree now.

And for good reason. For a hybrid they don't use as much gas as a traditional gas engine and they're also ideal for fleet.

Hybrid engines are... grrr, not very reliable
Not sure how you arrive at that conclusion. I had 480,000 miles (772,000 km) on my gen 2 Prius before it got wrecked.
