That is a really nice hike. I have done it 3 times. Lots of wildlife and lots of wild flowers in the spring.

Well done. Been here many times before and looking forward to coming back soon. I have thought of hiking from Little Pond to Alder Lake but now I'm thinking Alder Lake to the fire tower is a better option. Any opinion on what is better? Thanks

I have gone hunting at the lake for deer , a couple of times over the years . And also fished the lake . It’s a beautiful lake . It’s nice when it’s snowing… Very picturesque……

Another good lake in the Catskills is Echo Lake and Overlook Mountain. You can hike to the mountain and see an amazing view, then go down to Echo Lake nearby. I have some videos I made there back in 2019.
