Wow. Just wow. I think I can't explain, how much I enjoy your videos, especially these ones about your experiences in the japanese countryside. The pictures, your voiceover and the overall atmosphere are wonderful. I can see, how much effort went into making the video and how professional it was done. Marvellous. Greetings and warm hugs from Germany!
One of the few youtubers i can watch for years and never unsubscribe. Your videos have a nice vibe and you do such a great job transferring the heart of Japan onto my screen directly into the heart :)
That was beautiful Caela, I love all the videos that you make. Such a natural, but not BS, no, you are definitely a natural in the surroundings and when you are narrating your videos. Keep it up, btw How are you really, I mean, you look more energised and positivity suits you. Cheers
These are the types of videos I like! Not to say your other videos aren't good, but it's nice to see something different from the hustle and bustle of the city. Hopefully, when I do have a chance to visit Japan, I can go the the country side and experience some of the things pictured in the video. Keep up the good work and I am looking forward to the next video!
Very cool, I love organic agriculture (I'm a gardener) and I think japan countryside have a lot to offers! So lucky!! I like the Ume festival, seems small but fun to be with locales and shares!! The stars timelapse was nice! Can't wait to see what next you reserved to us!
Why are you so cool omg. I love your use of english and video production skills. You make the simplest thing look so magical! Been following you for over two years I think and you always manage to make your viewers learn new things, which is the best part. thank you never change :P
such an awesome video, it makes me nostalgic for a place ive never been aaah i really hope you're having an amazing time, the food alone looks heavenly
loving this series! So many vloggers just stick to videos about big cities because ~exciting~ but it's so lovely and refreshing to get some country side. Definitely the type of area and atmosphere I see my self settling down in one day.
What a lovely video! It's been a dream of mine to visit regional Japan, and experience the festivals that are celebrated, since I was about 12 years old! Too many years on I am yet to get there but it's definitely on my to do list! Thank you for the unique peek in to a culture I'm fascinated with!
This video (and the 1st part) are the best ones I've seen this year! Thank you for sharing this! I'm so happy to see that a small town lives and flourishes, this is something we lack so much in Russia. All people tend to move to big cities. Hopefully we'll be able to learn what makes a small town a nice place to live.
I am 70 years old and can share with you, to enjoy each day you are blessed with. Micaela is representing Japan with respect and love for the little joys of daily life. Thank you Micaela for this video. Many of us wish we could live our life over again; knowing what we know now - Micaela is getting it right the first time around.
I have to admit that I didn't really follow your videos for a while because I got so overfed by Jvloggers being all over the cities and basically only producing the same content at some point. But man, am I in love with your Aya videos! It seems to do you really well and I love the high quality, how you cut the videos, the images, the on-screen subs
If you don't mind farmwork, like weeding and planting, then I can recommend WWOOFing, which is volunteer work on organic farms. It's a great way to experience the Japanese countryside and you can find host families where there's someone who speaks English. You can filter the search on the WWOOF Japan site based on language requirement. This was how I first went to Japan.
enorcsi That's nice and all but I'm too old for that and not in the financial position to simply quit my job to do whatever I like ^^; Also don't speak Japanese well enough.
Loving these videos! You're so good at getting across the feel (and beauty) of the place. I also love how you have a mix of your own take on this experience of being in Aya, and also stories of local customs etc. Captivating!
Aya is stunningly beautiful and that food looks heavenly; and that music was so relaxing to listen to. Now all I want to do is save up and get to Japan ASAP :) Of course everyone wants to do the touristy type stuff but this is a view of Japan you rarely get to see and it's thanks to you Micaela. Keep up the amazing work!!!
This is the part (not just Aya) of Japan I really wanna see and if I got a chance i wanted to be immerse into this kind of environment/community. Thanks for sharing! . ps. I like your timelapse video, for a 1st timer. Quite jealous for the shot though hahahahaha
Editing was superb in this. You were probably one or two weeks too early to see the blossoms in full bloom.. so you'll have to walk all the way back up there Micaela!
What a great video Micaela. I love the city you are showing, it's all so pretty and clean, and night sky is nothing but gorgeous (I can only hope you upload more time lapses). Can't wait for you next video. Cheers!
This was such an enjoyable video. Thanks for sharing your thoughts, showing the beautiful countryside and giving us a glimpse of the people of Aya. Love the timelapse of the night sky! Keep vlogging, your insight and honesty are inspirational!
Thank you Micaela for your enjoyable, informative and entertaining vlog. I felt like I was watching a television program; your narrative and visual images are top quality. Everything you show is interesting and I like learning all the information you share. I enjoyed the night sky time lapse; you can really see the Earth rotating with the star movement. Thank you! Thumbs up!
Thanks Micaela, I was looking forward to the next video in this series and I was happy when it popped up in my notifications. That's so sweet that the locals took you up the mountain for the plum blossom festival and asked if you had a drink. :) The dog was so pretty-it looked like a Great Pyrenees! Has Kit played with him/her yet? How's Lon adjusting?
I would love to come to Aya. as you said in your last video - it also reminds me of my grandmothers garden (carrots with dirt nomnom). that food looks amaziiiing. ♥️
The people seem so hospitable. They add to an already breathtaking experience. Your delivery seems so matter-of-fact, as if to say such amazing food and treatment and beauty is so standard. I don't know how anyone could keep from enjoying time spent there. Well done. The time lapse, though… how much actual time was that? I could watch that for hours.
+kujmous nightlapses are so hard. I did 5 seconds of open shutter at 10 second intervals so I would only get 4 frames per minute.... and if you're compressing the time lapse into 30frames per second... then you're looking at 7 minutes of shooting for one second of timelapse. I would do at least 40 minutes per location for about 5-6 seconds of timelapse, but they didn't always turn out. 😤
These past two videos about Aya have been absolutely stunning and inspiring! I really loving seeing these videos about the countryside, and I hope that I get to experience a bit more of it someday. 💕
Aya is so beautiful! I really want to go there now. I am a new fan of yours and I am absolutely loving your channel! I cannot wait to see more videos in the future! Your time laps was great, by the way!
Just stumbled upon your channel while planning my trip to Aya! I'm visiting on the 14th I think with my wife and baby. We are thinking to move to a countryside area around Miyazaki in the future so it was great seeing your videos of the place. I visited Takaharu town last year, it was lovely, such great people. I'll look out for you during our visit and I'll be watching your videos for tips on what to do during our day trip.
Love your style Micaela. I know a lot of work goes into your videos - it seems so effortless (in a good way - like, flows so nicely) and natural. I know you don't do a lot of collabs but it would be wonderful to see you doing some more food related stuff (foodie here) - such as getting behind the scenes of traditional restaurants, bakeries, etc and digging in deep! Its just that I love your narration style and I believe there are different realms your talent could be used for (still LOVE what you're doing though). Looking forward to more of your Aya project and best of luck my friend!
Thank you so much for introducing me to Aya and its lovely Ume Matsuri. It made me nostalgic for the community-minded nature of Japan. And your lunch looked splendid, especially the kakiage.
That food ..... I hope it was as delicious as it looks! ✨ It's really cool to see the Japanese countryside!! Thank you! Is Kit enjoying this new environment?
Thanks to Sharla, I've seen both of your country side videos. Looking forward to more soon. I would love to visit there some day. Looks so beautiful and peaceful!
This is such a lovely video. It's amazing to get to see a more rural area of Japan and the lifestyles associated with it. Aya seems like quite the tranquil town.
I love this "real japan" countryside series ! do you know any jvloggers who do this sort of thing more permanantly? i use to watch grace & ryosuke (texan in tokyo) but they quit ㅠ.ㅠ and i'm having countryside withdrawals!
Agree this is the real Japan. I love the countryside videos. You can only see so many maid and cat cafe's vids. "SherryBerry in Ehime" is also good but not quite as raw and rustic as Aya (and I mean that in a very postive way). I liked the koto playing (I think that is what the stringed instrument is called) it has a very peaceful resonance.
Great content. You really have got your mojo back. I could easily watch 10- 15 minutes more of this type of content without blinking. They appear very hospitable. Great timelapse, it reminded me of time spent in West Africa; so little light pollution, can't wait to see what you do with a drone!. Tatsu will have to watch out.
Wow, what an amazing video. It basically had everything in it I thought I would want to see and more! The starry sky part was definately a great bonus.
I remember you saying that one of the big differences with life in Japan and in Canada was the pace of people and things. I can imagine the pace being a lot slower in the countryside than in the cities. Will you make a video comparing these two?
it's so beautiful! I don't even know if that was the right way to take a starry night time lapse either but it was beautiful regardless!! \*w*/ thank you so much for sharing your amazing adventures
I love your videos and especially the ones like this! Makes me want to go to the countryside again soon. I am looking forward to more videos from you! :)
雰囲気良すぎ
Thats a side to japan rarely any jvloggers talk about, and it is absolutely stunning!! 😍😍

いつも楽しく拝見しています。宮崎県は私の地元なので、とっても嬉しいです!綺麗な自然と、おいしい食べ物が沢山沢山あるので、素敵な時間をぜひ過ごしてください♪

Aya is so beatiful!
Good time-lapse! It looks like a really nice place, and a good place to eat. I'll bet the fur-children like it there, too.
I love this countryside series. it bring back lots of memories

That's wonderful that everyone is so welcoming. A small town with big character.
such an awesome video, it makes me nostalgic for a place ive never been aaah i really hope you're having an amazing time, the food alone looks heavenly
I like how you said that because it fits.
loving this series! So many vloggers just stick to videos about big cities because ~exciting~ but it's so lovely and refreshing to get some country side. Definitely the type of area and atmosphere I see my self settling down in one day.
Thank you for posting this. Really fantastic look at the Japanese countryside and way of life.
What a lovely video!

宮崎の優しいイントネーションがとても好きです。綾はワインも有名ですよね。ぜひ動画でお願いします。

The sheet music was so fascinating! I had never seen it before and I'm so glad you included that little snippet.

Wow! This was such an amazing video! Thank you so much for sharing your experiences with us! I almost felt like I was right there with you :)

Yay new vid! This is surprisingly calming.. That huge grill thing is interesting haha
Amazing foods!
I'm starved. Nice promotional video for Aya. I like the chicken guy's hair. I hope you are having good time staying in Inaka.
This video is like something i would see on discovery channel!! Love it 💕

Thank you for sharing this, is a part that we don't see. Your part is important, wow. Ty 🙏🏼🙂
