Justin You saved the isle on behalf of khadgar and the order halls. The alliance and Horde were too busy warring on each other on stormheim. The only part that they were useful in after the defeat at broken shore was freeing Suramar, and that was mostly just the blood and night elves.
But if they killed each other both of them should be ended in the maw I guess they fight and then they love each other and then build something and that something transported them to there .....yeah i hope they kill each other

Honestly, they did Vol’Jin dirty. He becomes Warchief, does nothing in WoD (which was the worst expansion story wise) and then gets killed by a random demon at the start of Legion. And to top it all off, he got bamboozled by a random Sand Troll loa and declared Sylvanas Warchief, that was his last act.

Given how we start the expnasion with an intro into the Maw and how we have a pre-expansion event of wiping the unleashed scourge, it's highly likely we will go to Bolvar in Icecrown from where we can enter.

@@justin1594 The only other answer, to me, is a PSYCHO one.. That Azeroth herself touched him and pulled him back to become HER Loa.. the Loa of Azeroth. Though I think he's going to become the Loa of Life. In Alpha we are already seeing similarities between the Kyrian and Naaru and their enemy is the Void and they are able to turn from light colored to dark just like the Naaru. I'm fully convinced Blizz is setting up a Light/Void vs Death/Life expansion.

You barely remember Vol'jin as a character because besides leading the rebellion during MoP against Garrosh. He did nothing during WoD and died in the beginning of Legion. Aka He got cucked by Blizzard.

I remember Thralls horde, Garroshes horde with saronite walls and kicking all the small races out, even Sylvanas left her mark, what did Voljin do?

@@ChichiNaka if you never read "Shadows of The Hoard" and kept up with his back story, then its true you probably didn't see Vol'jin as a beloved character, but his character arch from start to finish is relatively consistent in comparison to others and one of the most intriguing. From the beginning its clear that he is one of the few horde members who wants peace from the start. even though Thrall gives him the cold shoulder early on he NEVER retaliated and proved he was always on the side of the horde. Garrosh nitpicks and threatens him since they first met, and continues to belittle him after Thrall makes him warchief, but all people remeber was how Vol'jin threatend Garrosh at the beginning of the Troll starting zone. He has a justifiable hated for humans who slaughtered his people on echo islands, yet he manages to befriend Tyrathan Khort, and they both learn monk training from Chen to take down the Zandalar, (behind the scenes in mists of pandaria.) He is a niche character for those who haven't delved deep into his arch but trust me when I say his development from being a side character (whose loyalty to the Horde is dipicted in Samwise proportions) into the leader of the horde, left me in suspense and I wanted to see more of this. I did think Garrosh was pretty cool too as a character. He struggled looking for somone to fill the gap his father left, but he was too emo and lashed out against others even before he became warchief. I think most people only play the game and dont dig deep enough into his lore, but the ones who did are fans. He was built up and then immediately taken out. not the treatment he deserved.
I'm pretty sure that it'll be revealed that Mueh'zala is in the Jailer's pocket just like every other baddie in the Shadowlands either because of the anima economy or some other leverage that he has over them. Sire Denathrius, the one causing the causing the entire anima drought from Revendreth, was revealed to be an ally of the Jailer recently. My biggest questions are now about the Jailer's motivations and why he looks so much like a Titan based on the model that was datamined recently. The comment from one of the story writers in a recent interview about how we've "never been to a Titan homeworld" is also probably related (and confusing).

VandaKai i what I’m saying is that it’s possible elune could have saved voljin and that’s why she was powerless to help the night elves when they were burning the tree. So when night elves ask “why has elune forsaken us” that could be an answer. Could even influence tyrande depending on how she feels about her goddess helping someone from the horde. There’s potential for that to be a thing. I am also and keep this well in mind. Talking right out of my ass and speculating about things that are hiiighly unlikely to happen.
As a Troll shaman, the video title got me so excited and made me consider returning to WoW... then I remembered this is Activision Blizzard and they're probably going to screw up the lore and gameplay anyways.

What if the valorous Loa inside Vol'jin is Rezan? I know the timeline doesn't really add up, but it would make sense what with Rezan being a dead Loa who is the Loa of Kings.

This really just opens up more questions. What benefit does Sylvanas expect to get working with a world destroying god? What sense does Sylvanas's choices make to her plans to stay immortal? Why did Blizzard think this would be a good revelation? And whatever happened to Blizzard's less than subtle depiction of the Sylvanas fanbase.... I mean "Nathanos"? Do I want to know, or give a damn, about the answers?
I'm pretty sure when Blizzard made Sylvanas the warchief and Vol'jin was "whispered"... They really thought of making her a Good but Strong leader... but then they made her the antagonist so they just made that up wasn't a good Loa that whisperd him but Another Loa of death... just wondering? did anything get data-mined about calia and her light forged undead yet? that was a storyline that started in early BFA that kind of went nowhere. As for the one who sent Vol'jin back? It probably is the Arbitor or someone working with the Arbitor in some capacity but if there was a being strong enough to do it on Azeroth I would guess Elune. With all the talk of balance and Tyrande doing the night warrior thing that would be fitting to see something on Elune make a development.
Glad you are doing these videos, I hope you will one day return and do more "zone stories", back in the day I used to read a lot of quest texts and even books you would find that dropped from mobs or lying around, now I just skip it. I don't see much point to reading all the stuff if I'm not gonna get it if I didn't read the novel, comic, webtoon, watched the short film or whatever they come up with next. Kill x enemy, because x enemy is bad and want to do bad stuff" I'll worry about the details later. I think Blizz got the Rian Johnson syndrome, where everything must be a subversion or have some secret plots and schemes. BfA could actually have had a very simple story about war in the broad scheme of things, then we could have had a full expac of naga and old gods in this one and Shadowlands as the one after. It would also be pretty easy to tell that story in the game and if done correctly, it wouldn't be boring, I mean, they could have made The Alliance a proper aggressor. Anduin may have wanted peace, but the majority of the council didn't, even his soldiers starts to question his rule in the streets, as allies march their troops out of Stormwind or set sail. Too late now though. That is one thing I liked about FFXIV, Elder Scrolls and GW2, the story was told in the game, I just prefer WoW due to the mechanics and that's where my friends are.

I always thought Hakkar would eventually return, but as a one time raid boss, not as the first boss of a dungeon. And the Manastorm couple? What. Just, what. By the way, if they're talking about what loa will be reborn, which ones? I'm under the impression that there's a long list of them. Not just the ones killed in BFA. Have you or anyone done a lore or list of the Loa? The ones we've encountered, all the dead ones, living ones etc? Side note: if Vol'jin is going to transcend into some new loa, what do you think it would be? What will his area of dominance be? I think it will be the Loa of the Horde itself! I'm calling it right now.
Probably just take Rezans place as Loa of Kings and Queens since Im under the impression undead go straight to the Maw. Plus he's been like a counselor for Talanji so it makes sense.
I'm inclined to believe that the "hand of valor" that touched Vol'jin is someone related to Bastion/Kyrian, since they are the valorous ones in Shadowlands, and might be someone aware of Jailer's allies such as Mueh'zala and directly opposing them, working to thwart their schemes. The argument against it is that Eyir was not aware the type of power doing so, and her being queen of Val'kyr would suggest she is aware of Kyrians in Shadowlands, and might be an underling of Bastion leader. Then again, the Bastion leader and the person thwarting Mueh'zala might be two different beings. Looking forward to further developments!
The Arbitter who decides who goes where who is also drawn in bastion ish/titan style. Propably still stronger then the Jailor atm wich is why he syphons all the anima to himself. Vol'jin also glows golden so its likely he'll be a light loa like Rezan used to be but stronger.
Well, Bwonsamdi mentioned Rezan. And he was a noble Loa of kings. And Vol'jin was Warchief. And the Val'kyr mentioned he'd been touched by Valor. Maybe it was Rezan who saved Vol'jin's spirit, or if not the one who saved him, it will be Rezan's place, the Loa of Kings, that he will replace, putting him at odds with Bwonsamdi, just as Rezan was.
I need a recap on Millhouse. I can't remember if he is evil or not. After TBC I remember fighting him in Cataclysm in the Stonecore (or were we helping him??) then didn't he become a garrison follower somehow?

So, Mueh'zala whispers influences to make Sylvanas Warchief. Mueh'zala is also apparently working with The Jailer. But who do we know who has the Touch of Valor strong enough to bring back a spirit like Vol'jin? Which I'm sure wasn't a simple task. He's not a spirit someone would easily give up...
I don't think it's the Arbiter. If it was her intervening I'm sure Mueh'zala would of known and he avoided saying who it was in his talk with Vol'jin. I wouldn't be surprised if it's a new character all together, Id rather see new characters instead of twisting already established ones. Kinda why I'm really interested in the Jailer.
In the lore , Old gods used whispers to mortals in order to push their agenda from their dimension..They did so with Deathwing and others , My guess is that, for vol'jin too
Hi guys i have a question, i wanna get back in the game but i wanna do content. dungeons. raids. quest. pvp. more dungeons. gearing. i don't wanna spend many hours in proffession and how important is gold now? please answer this question its this that is not bringing me back. Cause if i miss out in dps because i don't have enchanting max at idk 800 and cooking for flasks at 800 am i missing out yes or not and what is the best solution. i am lazy yes. already maxed in cataclysm and legion. CBA to do it again on my new char.
I honestly thought that it was N'zoth the one that whispered voljin about making Sylvanas a warchief since the old Gods can't corrupt the death so I thought also that it was easier just to mind control somebody close enough to her and do crazy stuff. When she killed Hellscream, the magic she used was violet so that reminded me something old God alike. I guess I was wrong.

I think huge lore characters like that need to be taken out in a raid. It took 40 people the first time to take out Hakkar. Are we really that strong now that we only need 5 people to do it?

Yea it was more the Class order hall, with Illidan, Velen, Turalyon and Alleria.

WoW's lore moves at a snails pace, I barely remember Voljin as a character let alone some 5 year Arc since dying at the start of Legion
You barely remember Vol'jin as a character because besides leading the rebellion during MoP against Garrosh. He did nothing during WoD and died in the beginning of Legion. Aka He got cucked by Blizzard.

I don't care for the 'cucked by blizzard' side of it, I think most of their characters are poorly written and forgotten about, completely discarded after the opening weeks of an expansions leveling experience. But what did Voljin do as leader? what was Voljins horde? I remember Thralls horde, Garroshes horde with saronite walls and kicking all the small races out, even Sylvanas left her mark, what did Voljin do?

@@ChichiNaka if you never read "Shadows of The Hoard" and kept up with his back story, then its true you probably didn't see Vol'jin as a beloved character, but his character arch from start to finish is relatively consistent in comparison to others and one of the most intriguing.
From the beginning its clear that he is one of the few horde members who wants peace from the start. even though Thrall gives him the cold shoulder early on he NEVER retaliated and proved he was always on the side of the horde. Garrosh nitpicks and threatens him since they first met, and continues to belittle him after Thrall makes him warchief, but all people remeber was how Vol'jin threatend Garrosh at the beginning of the Troll starting zone. He has a justifiable hated for humans who slaughtered his people on echo islands, yet he manages to befriend Tyrathan Khort, and they both learn monk training from Chen to take down the Zandalar, (behind the scenes in mists of pandaria.)
He is a niche character for those who haven't delved deep into his arch but trust me when I say his development from being a side character (whose loyalty to the Horde is dipicted in Samwise proportions) into the leader of the horde, left me in suspense and I wanted to see more of this.
I did think Garrosh was pretty cool too as a character. He struggled looking for somone to fill the gap his father left, but he was too emo and lashed out against others even before he became warchief.
I think most people only play the game and dont dig deep enough into his lore, but the ones who did are fans. He was built up and then immediately taken out. not the treatment he deserved.

I'm pretty sure that it'll be revealed that Mueh'zala is in the Jailer's pocket just like every other baddie in the Shadowlands either because of the anima economy or some other leverage that he has over them. Sire Denathrius, the one causing the causing the entire anima drought from Revendreth, was revealed to be an ally of the Jailer recently. My biggest questions are now about the Jailer's motivations and why he looks so much like a Titan based on the model that was datamined recently. The comment from one of the story writers in a recent interview about how we've "never been to a Titan homeworld" is also probably related (and confusing).

VandaKai i what I’m saying is that it’s possible elune could have saved voljin and that’s why she was powerless to help the night elves when they were burning the tree. So when night elves ask “why has elune forsaken us” that could be an answer. Could even influence tyrande depending on how she feels about her goddess helping someone from the horde. There’s potential for that to be a thing. I am also and keep this well in mind. Talking right out of my ass and speculating about things that are hiiighly unlikely to happen.

As a Troll shaman, the video title got me so excited and made me consider returning to WoW... then I remembered this is Activision Blizzard and they're probably going to screw up the lore and gameplay anyways.

Tbh i think that who made Vol'jin returned was Uther, Eyir speaks about the hand of valor and that might be related to Uther that now is basicly a Kyrian and since the valkyr are basicly copies of the kyrians it would make sense that they would be more powerfull(the kyrians) so maybe him? idk....

What if the valorous Loa inside Vol'jin is Rezan? I know the timeline doesn't really add up, but it would make sense what with Rezan being a dead Loa who is the Loa of Kings.

I'm pretty sure when Blizzard made Sylvanas the warchief and Vol'jin was "whispered"... They really thought of making her a Good but Strong leader... but then they made her the antagonist so they just made that up wasn't a good Loa that whisperd him but Another Loa of death... I personally sided with Sylvanas for both expansions, but for two different reasons.
In legion it was in support of what she could represent.
In BFA, it was out of spite towards Blizzard and their toxic fanbase.

just wondering? did anything get data-mined about calia and her light forged undead yet? that was a storyline that started in early BFA that kind of went nowhere. As for the one who sent Vol'jin back? It probably is the Arbitor or someone working with the Arbitor in some capacity but if there was a being strong enough to do it on Azeroth I would guess Elune. With all the talk of balance and Tyrande doing the night warrior thing that would be fitting to see something on Elune make a development.
Glad you are doing these videos, I hope you will one day return and do more "zone stories", back in the day I used to read a lot of quest texts and even books you would find that dropped from mobs or lying around, now I just skip it. I don't see much point to reading all the stuff if I'm not gonna get it if I didn't read the novel, comic, webtoon, watched the short film or whatever they come up with next. Kill x enemy, because x enemy is bad and want to do bad stuff" I'll worry about the details later. I think Blizz got the Rian Johnson syndrome, where everything must be a subversion or have some secret plots and schemes. BfA could actually have had a very simple story about war in the broad scheme of things, then we could have had a full expac of naga and old gods in this one and Shadowlands as the one after. It would also be pretty easy to tell that story in the game and if done correctly, it wouldn't be boring, I mean, they could have made The Alliance a proper aggressor. Anduin may have wanted peace, but the majority of the council didn't, even his soldiers starts to question his rule in the streets, as allies march their troops out of Stormwind or set sail. Too late now though.
That is one thing I liked about FFXIV, Elder Scrolls and GW2, the story was told in the game, I just prefer WoW due to the mechanics and that's where my friends are.

My eyes popped out of their socket. Hakkar the Soulflayer?! The Manastorms?! What the frick is goin on! I always thought Hakkar would eventually return, but as a one time raid boss, not as the first boss of a dungeon. And the Manastorm couple? What. Just, what.
By the way, if they're talking about what loa will be reborn, which ones? I'm under the impression that there's a long list of them. Not just the ones killed in BFA. Have you or anyone done a lore or list of the Loa? The ones we've encountered, all the dead ones, living ones etc?
Side note: if Vol'jin is going to transcend into some new loa, what do you think it would be? What will his area of dominance be? I think it will be the Loa of the Horde itself! I'm calling it right now.
Probably just take Rezans place as Loa of Kings and Queens since Im under the impression undead go straight to the Maw. Plus he's been like a counselor for Talanji so it makes sense.
I'm inclined to believe that the "hand of valor" that touched Vol'jin is someone related to Bastion/Kyrian, since they are the valorous ones in Shadowlands, and might be someone aware of Jailer's allies such as Mueh'zala and directly opposing them, working to thwart their schemes. The argument against it is that Eyir was not aware the type of power doing so, and her being queen of Val'kyr would suggest she is aware of Kyrians in Shadowlands, and might be an underling of Bastion leader. Then again, the Bastion leader and the person thwarting Mueh'zala might be two different beings.

Well, Bwonsamdi mentioned Rezan. And he was a noble Loa of kings. And Vol'jin was Warchief. And the Val'kyr mentioned he'd been touched by Valor. Maybe it was Rezan who saved Vol'jin's spirit, or if not the one who saved him, it will be Rezan's place, the Loa of Kings, that he will replace, putting him at odds with Bwonsamdi, just as Rezan was.
Lich King is pretty cool with people just entering his sanctum.

I don't think it's the Arbiter. If it was her intervening I'm sure Mueh'zala would of known and he avoided saying who it was in his talk with Vol'jin. I wouldn't be surprised if it's a new character all together, Id rather see new characters instead of twisting already established ones. Kinda why I'm really interested in the Jailer.
