Hi Arika, I am in a very similar situation. I just got accepted in a MSBA program for a 1 year program! I am super excited, but when people ask me about my career path they seem so thrown off cause it’s from science to business which is so hard to explain. I’m just curious how you explained your career path to people who asked? I am super interested in data but having a large extended family who’s always asking me about my life so I don’t know how to define my career goals
Hey arika! I'm glad I found your channel, and I love your content! I'm in my final semester of Psychology undergrad, and I have only around 20 days to apply for a master's program. The premise of business analytics sounds interesting, but I need to know if it's the right career for me, and I'll have to know it within 20 or so days. Can you tell me what I should do to figure out if Business Analytics is for me?
Hi prashanth! There’s two things I would recommend doing. Firstly, do as much research as you can by watching videos, reading blogs, and trying to have a conceptual understanding of what a masters program in business analytics looks like. Secondly, I would recommend trying to do a project involving data. You could find a dataset on kaggle and try to clean and analyze it(there’s a titanic project that might be a good start). This is to determine if you actually even like the process of data analysis. Good luck!
Hi Arika. I'm glad I found your channel because I really relate to your career struggle. So, i just wanna know if Masters in Business analytics is a good course to do in Canada? Is the data industry good enough for me to land a job?
Hi Sanjana! Thank you so much for watching. Yes, the Canada market is also really strong for data analytics jobs and it's in high demand. You should have no problem finding a job in this market if you have the needed skills. Good Luck and let me know if you have any more questions!
Thank you for the reply Arika :) By skills, do you mean the ones we learn during the course or am I supposed to learn any additional ones? And i heard co-op would be a great addition while finding jobs. Did you do any co-op? If not, was it difficult landing a job?

Hi Arika. Would you recommend University of Cincinnati for Business Analytics. Any thoughts on this college?
Hi Tegashwini! I looked up the program and the career outcomes look strong. Have you talked to current students/alumni?
@@ArikaReddy yes I did, I wanted your analysis too as you already are in the field. Thank you for the response tho
Amazing! Good Luck on your next steps.
