It’s been so hard. It’s about to be my 1 year anniversary since graduating but haven’t landed a job yet. This greatly helped thank you. And for everyone who’s in this exact situation or similar, I hope it gets better. There’s always light at the end of the tunnel

Your gonna have to apply to about 200-300 jobs and make sure to white lie on your resume.
If you are too honest and show you lack experience and rely on school and previous jobs you will be jobless. Stretch the truth, and make sure you can elaborate on your skills. Every job will be different so you have to sell you fit into the role your applying for. Even then that’s just to give you a more competitive chance. Sometimes it just boils down to luck of the employer chancing on you

Love your videos, they're so helpful! I think we have similar personalities, I am too transferability-mad and I am about to do the equivalent of crossing the abyss, going from arts into uni for either tech or accounting. I got tunneled in a little bit on accounting because I would love to gain experience in that side of business. But after watching several of your videos I am now rethinking... I somehow thought that the gap between accounting and tech side in this day and age was smaller than it actually is. I haven't done enough research, so very grateful to have come across you. Couldn't bear going back to uni years later just to get more technical knowledge. Congratulations to you for closing that gap. All the best and sending love from Glasgow :)))

I’m currently a tech business analyst at a large company in the UK, was wondering how you’ve found working from home and community? I started as a grad during Covid and am really struggling with making a community for myself at work when all my colleagues live and work in London! Was just wondering what it’s like for you where you are? (Hope this isn’t too invasive if a question!)

Hey Naomi i am about to finish my bachelors in Marketing&Management and my next step is to do a Masters. I am interested in becoming a tech business analyst just like you, so i was just wondering what you studied and how you landed your job, what you do now (because it has been a year later since you made this comment) and if the entry level salary and the work is worth pursuing

Thank you so much for this video, which was super helpful! I was curious, do you think that a master's program is necessary for an undergrad with a non-technical background to transition into an entry level data analyst role? Or is it sufficient to get a certificate & build specific skills (like SQL) with a portfolio? Any advice would be greatly appreciated! 🙏🏻
