Honestly I prefer the gestures less room is taken up on the bottom of the screen and once you get the hang of it it's much easier to navigate through everything
I'm on the same page. I switched to gesture mode a few phones ago. I love it, it's more fluid and a lot easier to use actually

I keep missing calls because the incoming call icon disappears almost immediately.
How can I change settings so the icon to answer an incoming call continuously displays itself on the active screen and lasts for a longer time?

Hello. I've had this phone for a few days and it irritates me that I can't remove the search bar at the bottom from the main page and the widget in the upper left corner that displays the date, day of the month and sometimes the weather. I can't do anything about it. the only thing is to edit. Is it really impossible to remove? I would like to insert a larger clock widget at the top, but because the system widget is already there permanently, I am unable to do so. Regards.

Quention..Why does the pop up screen only work for your video. When i do it and i change to another video on pop up mode, the vid doesn't play and there's an exclamation mark on the center bottom instead of a play button. I don't understand, it works for your video but when i try it with others it doesn't

Yes. You just have to tap a bit harder.
I have the regular google case and it works just fine. Might not work if you're planning on using a heavy duty case though.

You can retrieve archived messages, don't think you can retrieve deleted messages. Click on the profile icon in messages, and then click the Archived button.

Disappointed this phone doesn't have more to do like my Samsung. My S21 Ultra has so many more features. Yet the Pixel 8 Pro is new and more expensive. Better camera is the only pro. ðĒ
