the 1st thing I did was install Nova Launcher lol. I don't like the Google search bar being permanently on the bottom of the screen. I use the Google search bar every day but I like it in a certain position on my home screen and I like it smaller and the only way to change that is by using a different launcher. The good news is now my Pixel 8 Pro home screen has the exact same layout as what was on my S22U.

great review on the camera/photos. i am trying to find a way to take detail out of pictures. my wife like the looks of older cell phone cameras that don't show every single wrinkle and detail. what settings will make it look less detailed? is it possible with pro settings? we just want basic pictures, not over sharpened and over processed.
Snapchat filters or Snapchat camera in general is great for this. Or yes Samsung. Maybe your wife just needs a confidence boost though. Embrace her aging and imperfections
I'm having a really hard time in locating where is the Files Folder (or Explorer) of my newly bought Pixel 8, where downloaded files will be stored in. In my old phone this Folder is easily found where I can then create a shortcut to it and placed it in my homescreen page, for quick and easy access to any downloaded files. In Pixel 8, it takes so many steps to get to the download folder. Any ways to place the folder on the homescreen pleaseeee ? 🙏

Yes, should be on. It can go as low as 1 depending on use, for example, if you aren’t scrolling or touching the screen, and then jumps back to 120hz when detects touch input and movement.

Why would i want 60fps (eats up more space) vs industry film stardard of 24fps or at 30fps at most. Then it won't look fake like that soap opera effect.
How come when I put the timer on the camera, when I get out of the camera mode it does not keep the timer time set. It's annoying having to do this every time. Also, the palm activation does not work well like on the Samsung phones. Is there a trick for this.

It's "Resize" in the options after you press the 4 squares icon while on the keyboard
