This is like the best video ever!! I'm not a photographer but taking photos at different angles is something I love to do and everyone gets shocked at some of the photos I take. Also, taking advantage of lighting and making sure you use it correctly is so important. I don't do it often but this was really good advice for stepping up my photo game. Happy New Year Dalevon!!
Thanks man. Definitely appreciate you. I'm glad it was a big help I hope others get the same usefulness out of it. Even non photographers can take better photos like yourself. Happy New Year bro 🎊✊🏾

Excellent video. I've been taking an insanely massive amount of photos while on my vacation in Mexico. I wish I watched this video beforehand, but I'm excited to apply all of these rules to the rest of the photos I take on vacation. Subscribed!
First time I tuned into your channel you’re such a cool, intelligent guy you break it down so easily for us. I want to thank you for the time you take the post your videos keep up the great work.
i am still use pixel 4 series but i wanna say most of the times it's photos are surprised me (some youtebers are say it's useless but i am gonna say its really useful when you taking a pro looking photo i am not using raw mode every time and i am not a photographer or great editor but if i shoot and got some raw photos when i gonna edit it, sometimes it's take really lots of details even my friends are surprised) however not having android 14 💔💔 so sad Thanks for the tips ❤🔥
I always liked photography bit one i got my Picels, it encouraged me to go more into it. Dont have an actual camera but for me, this is good enough bur this video was sick 🎉
wow! Просто охринительное, видео.👍 Very cool video!!! Thank you very much for such useful information! And most importantly, simple objects show that this information is really useful, good photos turned out!
hi, I'm a jewelery photographer, I set it in RAW, because I have the habit of making small changes if necessary with GIMP from the PC. I transfer the photos to my PC via email, but when I download I save them in JPG. I ask you: How should I transfer photos from Pixel to PC? Why does it download them in JPG if I have set them to RAW on the pixel? Thanks
I do it two ways. 1. I let it backup to Google photos and grab the raw files 2. I connect a usb straight to the phone and transfer the raws files straight to the usb thumb drive
All great tips! I have my pixel 8 pro and I love it but my only thing is after shooting in raw. Can you fix and post right from the phone or do you have to have Adobe or another app to fix and post?
Hello, thanks for this fab video, you are the only one I like to watch and have learnt a lot from! I have the 8 pro since last week, its my first time with Google Pixel. My pictures all get stored in the gallery fine. Its when i EDIT my photos that the trouble starts, because when i save them i then cant find it in the gallery. I have to go to the original pic, then it shows up the edited versions next to the pic, but i have to click on them to view. It wont just show the edits individually in the gallery automatically. Am i doing something wrong? Is it because my camera setting is jpeg + RAW? I use the Pro option camera. On my Samsung i used to be able to take pics, they automatically were stored in phone gallery, i could then upload the photo to social media by selecting a pic from my phone gallery. Now with the pixel, its difficult as i cant see my edited pic to select, so i have to select the unedited pic to view the edits but it wont let me view it, it just lets me upload unedited pic instead. All I want is to see ALL my edited photos via the photo gallery. Omg this is doing my head in!! Help! Lia
Google photos is the Pixel default gallery and Google change how in works about a year ago. But to make things easier for you. When you go the picture and it shows the jpeg, raw and your edit you can set your edit as the default photo for that stack. So when you scroll thru your photos you will see the edit version first. To set it it's easy. Click the photo you want and the main photo and hit the 3 dot menu and set it. Hope this makes it a little less painful for you
Thank you, thank you and thank you. Finally. Love this video. Especially with the Pixel 8 pro. Always love your videos. Cheers from Australia. One of your biggest fans, always spreading the word towards your videos. 😀🇦🇺🪃🦘🍻
Could you please explain why you turned "rich color in photos" off. Using a wider color space instead of srgb can only be benefitial for the image or am I wrong here? Essentially capturing a truer color by choosing P3?
@@DalevonDigital Ah ok makes sense. In the video it comes off as if it is a bad thing in general. But for shooting just as jpeg it makes sense to leave it turned on.
What are you using for editing rhe photoe after. I love the dramatic cool look to them. I hd an iphone 15 pro and just got thr pixel 8 pro and i miss the filter it had call3d dramatic cool and what ever you did to edit thats whay it use to look like
Greetings from Spain!!! I love your channel. Unfortunately I have a Pixel7Pro and the Pro settings are minimal. They are not close to those of the 8pro. 😢 But thanks for your advice.
@@DalevonDigital cool. I've bought those filters... But how can I attach them to the Phone? Do you have a special case for it? Sorry if I'm missing out something here. They are magnetic yes, but the camera frame is not...
@buzzmattn6539 Wait man those filters aren’t for the phone they are for the DJI Pocket 3. Please return them if you can. In the video I was referencing the Pocket 3 when I pulled off the ND filter.
It's my favorite smartphone camera. I think it's amazing. But I can't speak for you, you might not like Google's processing. In my experience it's more natural and color accurate. Especially for skin tones.
Instead of all this pressure /memorising on my tiny brain , is there any settings in pixel camera which automatically take great professional photos by adjusting modes itself i.e. shadow, sunlight, darkness etc 😅😅
I have a pixel and all my photos are horrible... that's why I clicked on this. The pictures look far better if I take them in night sight though. Otherwise they are always horrible.
Same here. My pixel 8 pro washes out the vibrant colours and makes them look so dull even in the brightest sun light. It even darkens the skin color both in the main and selfie camera.

You can use Snapseed which is free and edit the raw or you can use the free version of Lightroom also

Hey im going to a mainly indoor car show and just picked up the 8 pro. Any tips for indoor pictures?
Make sure to hold the phone steady and use manual for every shot so the camera won't hunt for focus between your shots
Got a link for the ND filter ?
For the DJi Pocket 3
Great video, great tips and advice

How do you get the purple focus lines on your phone I don't get them
Just got to focus. You find it in the 3 lines to the bottom right

Will you share it?? @@DalevonDigital
Its a paid pack
I never really used light room to much so how much is the pack. Is it on your website and do I have to buy light room to use it
Lightroom has a free version and my pack is $15 for 25 presets
how you add that time style in your home screen?
Go to my linktree link in description
Ultra HDR makes photos lively and you say we should put it off?
Yes if your shooting in raw only. If you just shoot Jpeg keep it on. 👍🏾👍🏾

Clear your data and cache in your phone app see if that works.
