What a hero, reunited the city, the club, the fans, the hope, the passion. Never been in the bottom 3 this year. Bad run of injuries and form. But I do believe his stubbornness got him the sacking, the reluctancy to change against bigger teams. Man to man marking with the most expensive squad in the world, against players like mane, salah. However I don’t believe they will be another manager with the injuries we have, that can do any better. Hope I’m wrong. But I can’t see it.

No question about it, injuries to key players like Patrick Bamford, Kalvin Phillips, Liam Cooper, and Junior Firpo have severely damaged Leeds this season. They simply don’t have quality replacements, and also with their pressing style and the fact that scoring less goals up front, and conceding plenty at the back. Marcelo is still the same manager, but with key players missing, they were always going to struggle. Look at what happened to Liverpool last season, and they have a far bigger and better pool of players to choose from!

But after he came, he transformed the club into a threat to all clubs and destroyed the league 2nd time around. Did alright in the Prem and gave most big teams a hard fight. We shouldn’t forget that he bought Raphina to Leeds, where every club with money seems to want him cause of his immense talent and how he’s carried Leeds. What they are suppose to do? He bought frimpong and dan james for 35 millions, when offered van de Beek to reinforce bielsa refuse the offer, insist with this small squad, then storm of injuries in awkward fixtures, panicked and play his favorite which are well known as bad players like Roberts instead taking risks of playing u23 like gelhart.
Bielsa is not a god, he is a coach with great gravitas but his mistake is obvious.

Shame Bielsa got sacked a class Manager, I hope he decides to Manage elsewhere rather than retire. Its amazing what he has done for Leeds and the players, especially when appointed Leeds where fighting relegation to league one in a short space of time turned things around and changing the desire to make the likes of Raphina, Phillips, Bamford etc to be more than your average player. Best of luck where ever he goes and also the translator always tv gold the interviews especially when Bielsa corrects him in Englidh 🤣🤣🤣

Strange that Leeds named a street after him near to the shopping centre, Marcelo Bielsa Way..........when they've had legends who got nothing.
No street named after Gordon McQueen, Paul Madeley, Lorimer, Strachan etc etc. Odd bunch.

I come from the future: He's been sacked but his work and legacy at Leeds survived to see season 22-23 IN Premier League. No longer excuses, he took Leeds back home and that's all left to say. Now Leeds alone is responsible for its destiny. Cheers

It's his fault and deep down he knew it, refuse to bring van de Beek when offered now don't have any spare players to cope.
"Small squad means more game time for the u23" I get it, there is a logic behind that statement but his recruitment policy is as dreadful as ranieri.
