Afternoon from Nottingham, Noel! Another great video, as always. I’m constantly amazed at the amount of airlines there are in the world. It seems as though a ‘new to me’ one pops up every now and then. Any plans to do another collab with Josh Cahill (the old relic) any time soon?

Seeing videos from NZ makes me nostalgic, spent my first birthday away from family in AKL during my working holiday adventure in Australia 2003. Air NZ served domestic destinations using the B737-300, Mt Cook and Queenstown are amazing places I wish to see again one day. 😊

I wish you could spend more time exploring the terminals. I find that to be some of the most fun of my fight schedules. And it would be nice to see a few minutes of the best places to visit too. Perhaps an interview of some of the people you meet would be fun as well. I enjoy your work!

Yep, most of us won’t see the business class lounge so I’m more interested in the general areas of the terminal

AKL intl terminal landside is incredibly drab, i have seen bus stations with more character. downstairs it looks like a warehouse with bag wrapping stands and scales along one wall and check-in counters along the other. upstairs there is a convenience store and a maccas. airside is a bit better but not substantially so
Domestic also doesn't have that much going, I'm pretty sure everything in there besides maybe the domestic bag claim was shown in passing

Noel the fact that you arrived later may have helped you by avoiding the mess that is AKL international arrivals. NZ have a lot of international arrivals, and departures in the 5:00-7:00 time and it has been well known the airport has significant issues with managing this.
Oh welcome to NZ and my home airport of WLG. I wonder if you are going to take some of the smaller airlines out of here, Origin, Sounds, Golden Bay but Air Chathams too.
