It always drives me crazy when people call Sentro or knitting machine crafts cheating. Like I took a ball of yarn and made a shirt. How did I cheat? Hater behavior indeed. ❤ love your channel!
I want to learn how to do this so badly! I have had an LK100 for two years and have barely touched it. But I found a group of older ladies to teach me- next Friday! Yay!
loving the way you are showcasing that home machine knitting is still very handmade and takes a lot of work! I have crocheted for years & started knitting a year ago, just purchased my first flatbed knitting machine and am stunned by how much work by hand the machine requires! even if it is not “hand knit”, it is still handmade and takes a lot of handwork. 🫶🏻
aw thank you so much!!! I totally agree, I feel like it takes using the machine to know, you know!!! it's crazy how much time I can spend on one project on my machine, even I always think it'll be faster than it is!!
I don’t knit but watching your videos I literally purchased a Sentro in hopes of making a few pieces to add to my wardrobe. Thank you for sharing!! 😂not ready for the big life, Brother KX350 Machine. 😊
Awesomeness! Tip: Putting your yarn on the floor behind your machine can help with tension issues. It keeps the yarn from creating drag. Beautiful sweater! I have about 20 knitting machines. I’m obsessed with them.
You’re energy is so infectious. Loved the video and the sweater looks great! Very 80s! Especially those sleeves and dropped shoulders! Welcome onboard from one machine knitter, to another, it’s lots of fun! ☺️😘
So cute.. An easier way to put the piece back on the machine would be to use a transfer tool, and instead of doing a crochet hook to join, you can just cast off the stitches directly on the machine.. Awesome job, though
OMGGG! you freakin rocked this! This made me not that much intimidated of my Silver Reed LK150 anymore. I've had mine for about a year and haven't pulled it out in a while. Been really wanting to tackle a sweater, especially cause it's just about fall season. So I'm happy you made this.
this makes me so happy!!! youve totally got this omg, i wonder if it came with a helpful manual? this machine's manual is actually amazing and made it so easy!!! let me know if you end up making one!!
HEYY!! @@lilyfoubisou sorry for the late reply, but i think the manual for your machine is easier than mine for the lk150. I'm pulling it out today to start doing some practicing. Fall will be here before we know it!
hiii!! it’s so nice to see you posted!😊and look at you! using your new brother knitting machine! as always, ur a wizard with yarn!😂❤ and ur almost to 5k! omg! - jamie p.s. idk if you’d wanna do this but i would highkey really like to see a week in the life vlog from you..🥺
omg wow!! a lot more people have this than I expected! I had some trouble with that at first and I realized it was because the sponge that keeps the needles in place was SUPER old and deteriorated and I bought a new one on Amazon!! I've had no problems since!
your cuffs look really stretchy!! I have this same exact machine and wanted to follow that same pattern before seeing this video, and I'm on the front panel but mine isnt very stretchy, I'm using 100%cotton, what blend are you using? also what is your bust measurement?? that fit looks perfect but when I did my first attempt, it looked so huge.
I actually ended up making the sweater quite a bit smaller from the original pattern!!! so I decreased the width in stitches & length in rows by a lot but can't remember exactly how much :/ Also this yarn is wool & silk blend, cotton isn't usually super stretchy!!
Is this machine able to create pieces that are more holey/spaced out? Kinda like when you use a low weight yarn and larger needles when hand knitting? I’ve only ever hand knitted and not sure the limitations/possibilities of machine knitting
I don't think it's 'hater behaviour' to ask if you used a knitting machine to make something. People are just curious. That's a low threshold for hate right there.
100% people are just curious sometimes which I don't mind at all of course. I'm referring to people who are implying a negative connotation when they ask which happens to me sometimes

you get it!!! thanks so much queen!
Thank you for pointing out how much time and hand manipulation it requires to make anything other than a flat panel. Yes yes yes it's hand made!

The machine looks so neat! Love how the sweater turned out! :D
it really is so much fun!!!! thanks sooo much girly!!
I would also agree this is very much still hand made. It’s a mechanical task not automatic in any way.
You are so talented, I love watching your videos ❤

I have that one! I tired to use it but I couldn’t get the needles to do right. Maybe I’ll learn something from you!

I love that look too!!! you totally can if you use a lighter weight yarn, the yarn I'm using is pretty thick
It is totally hand made just not hand knitted. Knitting machines require a lot of manual effort
totally agree!!!
I have alize "klasik" yarn and Himalaya everyday super lux yarn.can i use them on the knitting machine??
Yes!!! As long as they're the right weight for your machine it should be perfect :)
This is handmade for sure, but I wouldn’t say it’s hand knit. That’s the only difference really.
Yeah I agree with that!! I definitely wouldn’t say it’s hand knit either, just handmade
Can do a dress tutorial on this machines
❤❤❤👏👏👏

Every item of clothing is handmade, even the cloths at fashion nova. Those hands just aren't appreciated.
