Having issues with a similar bike to yours. It keeps stalling (shutting down). Then I simply turn it off for 3 minutes and back on, and it rides fine for a few miles, but it does it again. I ordered a 5000w upgrade kit for it in hopes to fix it. You have any ideas that worked for you?
hey i was wondering what do you think is better between an armada predator stock, a tao leo stock or a armada talon stock in term of speed and distance with a 72v 32 gel battery
A gas bike tbh. Cheaper, legal, and unlimited range with gas stations. But if you need a electric one, go with whatever has the best dealer support, and a lithium battery upgrade at some point.
Just wondering. I just bought one without the battery pack but the seller don't want to tell me the maximum battery pack size I can fit in these motorcycle . Can someone please help with the maximum size that will fit in it ?? Much a appreciated .
I'd say just be careful, my original bike failed due to faulty parts. Ask them for info on the controller and motor prior to purchase. Mine had a generic controller and motor, which overheated/died. Replaced it with $1200 worth of parts (Kelly Controller KLS 7245N and high quality QS motor).
Probably, but that's not a bad price. As long as everything works, get that, and put about 1200 of parts into it (like mine), and you'll have a bike that's significantly more powerful for less than a new one.
Personally I wouldn't do a dual motor system on something like this. Maybe on a smaller "normal" ebike, but not a larger motorcycle style one like this. Controller is a Kelly Controller KLS7245N, motor is a QS motor, for obvious reasons I won't be disclosing info on the motor.
The rated speed of the motor is like 30km/h to 110km/h (via software). Realistically, from riding it, if it was on a closed course/private road, I'm sure it could easily hit over 100. Currently the 0-65kmh is around 3.5 seconds. I just haven't had the time to properly test the top speed.
There are some good electric motorcycles, like a Zero SRS, Energica, ect. Unfortunately all of these ones available as "Ebikes" (no insurance, license needed) are crappy Chinese import bikes. Which is why mine died and required me going out and buying higher quality aftermarket parts.
Unfortunately the bolts used to secure the rear break assembly were too long, this caused them to make contact with the rotar, and at low speeds/when accelerating it made a loud click. It was also loose. Fixed with shorter bolts/washers.
That's inaccurate, there's no new law. What happened was someone in Surrey decided to be a asshole and take their kid on the back into king George SkyTrain station. Due to that, police got involved. The individual received citations for doing so, and tried to fight them in court, and lost. His bike didn't fit into the qualifications to be a ebike, as it had tires too small. These larger bikes do fit into current laws. Something can't be banned just because of "how it looks". Until a new law is actually passed, these are still legal, it just depends how you ride it. If you break laws on it, expect to be treated as if you are riding a motorcycle illegally. I've spoken to police officers here about the issue over the last few days.
New sub here for your E-bike vlogs and been catching up watching all of them. Did you film any of the controller programming/tweeking hooked up to the computer? Saw The INJA do it on his channel when he upgraded his Chinese E-bike/Motorcycle and it was pretty cool.
I mainly used his video as a guide. Works pretty well! Currently in the process of converting this to a royal legal motorcycle (getting plates, insurance, ect).
@@YTSBryce Will be interested to hear how it goes with you getting it registered and insured. I'm looking to get a bike like yours but want it registered and insured as an under 70km LSM. Wish the shops selling these would help more with that process at purchase.
Dam bro a lot of info. But why don’t you put the links to the controller and new motor. You said a lot of bla bla bla. But didn’t help where to get anything. Lol 😂🙏🏼 send me links please!!
I think that was because this was not legally a motorcycle yet at this point, and I was avoiding legal issues. Send me a email and I'll send over the list. ytsec@null.net
Anyone looking to buy an armada electric bike or really any e bike. DO NOT BUY THEM They are illegal and rip offs, they are very poorly built. my experience has been so fucking aweful. Never ever buy one of thwre bikes. EVER
sick bike man
Hi there! Hope you can help me out
You've given me a good idea of what owning a bike like this can be like. Tha ks for the vid.
can you dissconect the speed limiter?
I have a emmo gts no issues yet i can get it up to 80km love it
That's great!
How do you modify this bike like make it go much faster than what it originally does
So what hub motor did you upgrade to?
Should I buy this or the emmo gts?
Ontario cops one concern is the goofy pedals. Chain doesn't have to be on. I don't see pedals on this awesome bike

That seems like a battery issue more than anything honestly, possibly a controller issue.
any updates or new videos???

do you live on the north shore?
Awesome.

Depends on the controller you have in it. I'd research that first.
Get out your measuring tape and start figuring the dimensions of your battery space
Awesome bro
Thinking about getting a RAWATRON PREDATOR

Just make sure you have a good dealer nearby, check with someone who's got something from them, what the support is like.
Who did you get it done by if you don’t mind me asking I live near u.
Unfortunately due to privacy concerns I'm not currently disclosing that, however it was a professional company.

Legality, I believe this video was back from when I had this as a "Ebike", prior to when I converted it over to a motorcycle.
And hey does it have the LiPo cells or the cheap ones
Currently has the stock lead acid ones, but I plan to upgrade to a 72v 45ah (or higher) Lithium pack closer to summer.

On the stock bike, no. Stock you're going to get around 80. My controller and motor were upgraded, and j can easily hit 110 now.
Hi what tracker did you get for your bike and where from?
Bc Canada I beleave
So would u say u like this bike and can u tell me how to upgrade it in a way that i can get more range on this?
You can upgrade it by selling it, then getting a real bike, that takes gas and that isn’t a piece of shit,

I hope Ontario doesn't follow B.C.s laws. Cops don't enforce many laws unless a rider blows by a cop doing 60km.
