I’m confused can someone help me... I got a 613 frontal and idk if I need to bleach it.. I want that nice natural look but idk if I need to do it or if it’s going to make a difference 😩
Nyny C if the knots are huge bleach it. Don’t listen to people, it does make a difference. If your knots are small and barely showing just apply makeup or tint Or both for a flawless look
I wouldn’t recommend bleaching the knots of a 613 wig. This will weaken the knots and cause the hair to shed. 613 hair is hair that has already been bleached, therefore is quite weak. This technique applies to hair that is dark (natural black 1b/2/3/4) and therefore you’ll need to adjust the developer strength to how dark the knots are. If you want your 613 wig to look natural at the scalp you can invest in a good lace tint or alternatively do the opposite, and use a brown dye to colour the knots instead. Ideally, you’d want your knots to match your scalp colour. Hope this helps somebody x
Maza L its the same thing as bleaching the knots on black hair. Either way you’re weakening the knots because you’re burning them off black ,blonde, blue or purple is the same thing. I bleach my knots because it makes a difference in 613 I’ve tried different methods and this gives me the best results. Changing the 613 lace color without bleaching the knots I feel like that the knots still shows on a 613 lace which is why I prefer to bleach first
Touched Style if it works for you then that’s fine! Ideally though you wouldn’t want to weaken the knots so much that the hair sheds. If you’re using good quality lightening products on even the best quality hair extra shedding can still occur. Ultimately, when it comes to 613 coloured hair it’s important to ensure the lace matches the scalp. The 613 knots can easily be covered with makeup if you don’t have a lace tint (if the knots are very small). If the knots on your lace are so large that you still feel the need to ‘shrink’ them then it’s probably best to purchase from a hair company who sells lace where the knots are very tiny, giving a more natural look. Either way, if it works for you then do your thing x
When mixing bleach powder and developer you guys can use the same scoop that’s in the bleach bucket to measure out the same amount of developer that way you don’t have to eye ball it.
Hey boo I only use this method for now , I’ve never really gotten into tinting. But I want to start. The only tinting I do is when I apply makeup to the lace I guess

Hey love , with black hair 25-30 minutes with you constantly checking. Blonde hair 30-40 because the knots are already light it’ll take longer you just want to make those blonde knots smaller. So think of it like that kind of as burning them smaller but not literally. Since it’s blonde hair you honestly have to watch it progress

When you have 613 hair do not bleach the knots it will make them shed quickly they are already blonde instead tone then with any brown toner or hair color
I colored my 613 a dark red & the knots are red now. should I bleach it or makeup would fix it? I’m scared If I bleach it would be shedding more than it does tho
I always bleach because the knots truly do show. If the knots are thin enough the makeup will do the job good enough, but i always bleach because i hateeeee knots. It’s a personal preference, bleaching the knots will weaken the closure because the hair is attached to the knots but it’s going to slowly shed on its on anyways because its hand tied most of the time, personal preference i always go out with a bang so i bleach. It does last longer if you dont bleach but it doesn’t look as good , it depends on what you want out of your closure
