It's so crazy that I'm learning about all this, 20 years after it happened, from people half my age, who actually have their own hair, (although I realise that African hair is super challenging to handle...) African hair is not challenging to handle love. The texture range of African hair is just like that of other black people. So what exactly do you mean?

She did go back with her powdered foundation. So she didn’t leave it ghostly light like a lot of girls who think it should be lighter than their face. I do think you can match it with your face as long as it’s toned down, get rid of the crimson undertone. It should be neutral or cool. Not really warm. I do think it should be a couple of shades lighter than your face
OMG, GIRL. YES. FINALLY, somebody said it!! I am SO SICK of these girls with orange, red or dark chocolate parts. I'm like....you do know your scalp is LIGHTER than your skin, right? And it's usually a neutral or cool color. It's not Mocha Cinnamon brown! It's just so distracting, and just screams "I'M WEARING A WIG." There's a youtuber who is a really sweet girl, she has such a sweet personality. But she doing wig reviews, and I'm just....so tempted to tell her, no. Stop. Don't ever do what you keep doing again. Never. Ever. STOP. She made this silver/blue wig and the scalp in the wig is ORANGE. Literally ORANGE. She puts her foundation into the lace (and to be honest, the foundation isn't her face shade either, so her makeup is not the best). So we have a bright orange scalp, with silver hair coming out of it that has silvery-blue ends. And people in the comments, are like YAAAAASS. Got our girl looking like a damn fool.
I have the hardest time trying to see exactly how people pluck hair. It looks so easy! I wish you would make a short video clip up close and in slow motion. Are you using the tweezers and pulling a couple of strands ? It looks like you're running the tweezers over the hair because I can't actually see the tweezers opening up. :) If that makes sense.
OMG so smart and I have low-density fine hair and my hairlines is not very thick and I too want my wigs to look like my natural hairline...I don't know why I stopped plucking after the third part line when I could just as easily do what you've done here and keep going! Looks much more natural imo ♥ brilliant ♥

So funny, I love it. I think some of us are terrified to pluck because it means the unit won't last as long. The frontal becomes bald quite quickly and you've to buy another unit. That can get expensive. It's a trade-off. 🤷🏾♀️

You did a good job plucking but this texture looks so unrealistic! Imagine if you got a wig that mimicked your natural texture. It would look so real with this melting method. I don’t get the obsession with Barbie hair looking wigs.
