    Very cool feature. It's an incredible amazing thing that you can make sounds sounding like a hit tea kettle. Must try it with other samples and make long decaying sounds. Physical modeling is great. Thank you for the video. Always good to hear you "back" :)

      Thanks. If you haven’t had a chance to, check out the modal filter. There are a lot of crazy things you can do.

      Yes I already experimented with it. Today I tried to analyze some of my recordings of metallic sounds and got great results. Some reminded me a bit of Chromaphone from AAS. When you stumble over something really great, please let us know. I will upload some patches in the future for the exchange portal in MSF.
      MSF still is not so stable as it could be. Especially the volume levels are out of control in some constellations. And I quite often experience very high peaks when having modulations controlled by other modulations. It gets so far that audio completely stops. Even with the safety limited and another limited hooked up in the effects matrix. To be honest I have not much interest to write it to Vojtech. His answers are often disappointing.

    Amazing!! Been looking for this kind of tool for a while and you explained it just perfectly, thankss

    An alternative to modulating the NoiseGenerator's Volume, as you did toward the start of this video, is to use an Envelope module on the oscillator's output. An Envelope module acts as an amp envelope on any signal.

      I never thought of that, but that would definitely work. I’ll give it a try.

    Is it true that picture discs sound worse than ordinary vinyl????

      have not a clue what you're talking about
      all I know is vinyl actually has pretty bad sound quality outright, ie highs are much more muted than they should be due to the fact that grooves so teeny tiny can't be made so well.
      (Also it's real bad for the environment and your lungs, if your curious watch Benn and Gear's vid on it)

    Show how to physically model a guitar in this

      In a previous video on physical modeling I showed how to make a bass. An electric guitar is based on the same principles.

    Holy. Shit. Fvck me for sleeping on Melda the past year. This is insane.
    Did Vojtech get the sampler engine figured out? Is it possible to scrub a sample with an LFO or other Melda modulators?

    • @Chandlerguitar
      @Chandlerguitar  4 ปีที่แล้ว

      Yes, there is a sampler added now and you can use an LFO to scrub it. I made a video about how to do it a few weeks ago.

    I thing this is the best synth on the market so far. I give 10/10 points. But the GUI. OMG so bad. I'm developing GUIs over 30 Years. And this is worst I've seen in this century. This is a good example to teach beginners what you should not do, if you want to create a GUI with a good user experience.

      Hopefully the GUI will improve in the future. There has been some work on it over the last 6 months or so.
