I love the full stream but when I'm short on time this is gold
Did some quick math regarding Marauder Champions vs Tzeentch Chosen and found some interesting results. Melee Attack 37 vs 46 and Melee Defence 53 vs 60 which gives Champions 12% to hit and Chosen 28% to hit and take into account the lower armor of Champions they recieve about 50% more dmg (15ap+15 compared to 15ap+6 for chosen). In summary Chosen deal more than 3 times the dmg that they recieve from Champions. So in theory should Chosen kill an entire Champions unit and still have about 70% HP left (assuming equal HP pools). WHich is kind of insane and shows why elite infantry can dominate a battlefield if they are allowed to take favourable fights.
I understand replay tourneys arent as engaging for you to cast, but they are really fun to see still so I'm hoping for another 2v2 stream!

To see how Louen survived the whole orc army on his own, kite them across the whole map and then heal to full health afterwards was extremly frustrating.

Not sure if it could even work, but a tournament where you can build armies without faction restrictions would be something different, at least for a laugh

I'd also like to see a tourny where everybody can choose 2 or 3 factions at the beginning and also already has to build the army for each of the armies.
Then, when encountering another player they can not change their army anymore.

Though a cool battle, the final was pretty ridiculous considering how relatively close the game was despite outter holding double value damage done for quite awhile

Also, if it gets me more fun Faction wars and what not, make it offline. I cant catch the streams anyway, but if i did..all the waiting between games would not be worth it, and its better with replay tournaments.

Make the OP factions (clearly Bret, Ogres and Chorfs here) 1 time pick only over the tourney for the players so its not just the same factions over and over in the later stages. Kind of lame to see the same few factions constantly picked in these things when theres a good like, 20 other factions and they're all more interesting than "Grail knights go Brrrrr"
What about a tournament where top three meta factions are banned? Just to be able to see other factions play and the tournament not inevitable become the same battles every single tournament.
Like only bottom half of ranking factions can be played?? As a one off tournament??

that king louen thing was so frustrating to watch and i know its even more frustrating to play against tim had the perfect units to punish that the boar boys and the squiggs for the poison just the whack ass total war we've come to love lol but thats why i take night goblin war boss vs bret i dont think the king would have gotten away with that move on the war boss with the root, berserk and spite of the bad moon.
Why do people pick Kairos over generic Lords of Change? You'd think the better combat stats would make them more popular...

27:53 hmm maybe remove regen cap, and remove ammo cap and see ^^ with unlimited ammo it should make up for the unlimited healing/shield regen. and i always found it stupid how you run completely out of arrows but never stamina :P
could make the arrows like fetigue; so that the lower ammo the lower accuracy and efficiency; to show that all the good arrows ran out but ofc you has some crappy arrows in unlimited amount; just like for some reason you can never reach exhaustion in melee to the point of falling; game rules etc. ^^
I hate to say it, but that nonsense with Louen surviving the entire Greenskin army is one reason why I'm looking forward to TW Pharaoh.
I'm not sure u realise how bad pharaohs battles are going to be if they are anything like troy. But I do agree this louen incident was ridiculous xd
I mean some slightly better micro from Brettonnia and getting a proper surround with the pigs and he woulda been finished, but he couldnt close the surround then overcommitted (into an OP faction, but still).
Similar small mistakes occur in every RTS, just look at ANY pro WC3 game and see how many failed surrounds occur and massively impact the game.

If you want proper, satifying, historical TW battles, just play Shogun 2.
The Empire needs a “Brettonia style” buff. So much more fun to watch.
Why? Its pretty strong for years and doesnt really struggle or lack anything. As a currently empire main the last thing I wish for is to feel bad for playing empire, cause it would get unfair and imbalanced buffs like Bretonnia.

38:07 why dont the community come together and do it then? hear the pro's, your community etc. figure out how it should be best; test it with mods and when you find something that feels awesome; show the devs how its done and they will properly fix it up +- like that ^^
also you could easily run tournaments with some modding on; at least to fix obvious bugged stuff like pump wagons, things not working properly etc. including capture weight if you got a much better way to do it ^^
Isn't it a bit counter-productive to be saying all CA's maps suck? Biggest TWW multiplayer guy basically telling his whole audience not to play ladder, CA sees no interest so less support, etc. Doesn't make much sense to me honestly even if the maps are only average.
It does seem a little counterintuitive at first, but I think because he and many other creators offer an accessible and meaningful alternative, which has the potential to be implemented in the game makes it make sense. I do agree that bashing part of a game will make it even less popular, but he does soooo much to keep it alive.
He warns you about ladder and he's right to do so 💀
Also, he means a lot of maps are one-sided and "nonstrategic," I mean why do you think there are so many community made maps?
I think it's clear by now that CA isn't interested in turning this single player game into a competitive multiplayer format, even though that is exactly what it's based on
unfortunately the qb maps are way worse than 'average'.
