Just want to say I'm a big fan of your reviews. So far I have purchased the Monarch MK2, The Baldr 2 and the Dorado mostly from reviews. They are all excellent recommendations and what I really like about your reviews is that you talk about the sound instead of explaining a graph.
Great review! I remember watching your Hype 2 review, soon after that I snagged a pair and have really been enjoying them ever since, they sound so good with EDM. I'm considering the Hype 4 as well now, just not quite sure yet as to whether there is a point in owning both, but I am tempted 😅
Can you please give a quick comparison between these and the Chopin. Which do you prefer and why?

Hype 4 is almost perfect for its price point.
I just wish I knew how to EQ -2 or -3 db of Bass.
The bass is clean but hits a bit too hard for me...
This is not that difficult, depending on what you’re listening on. If you’re on mobile you can grab something like the Qudelix 5k, which includes both a band and parametric EQ. You can set a bass shelf starting at roughly the frequency you want to start to tame and lower the db to your preferred values, which will help to shift the entire lower frequencies down to your liking.
If you’re on desktop you can do this with eqMac or APO + Peace GUI. It seems challenging to learn, but simple adjustments like this aren’t that hard to do and can open you up to a world of adjustment that will give all your IEMs and headphones a second life.

I'm betting the tops' bass in on another level and much more overpowering. Other than that, its probably around the same.

Got feaule h570 tips on mine. Basically softer azla crystals. If spinfit w1 and azla crystals made sweet love.
Beautiful IEMs, wanted to keep them but they have chewed up treble.

Uuu how i love my hype4 's, i have the same color. They sound as good as they look and they look awesome. Camera don't do theese justice.
Really stunning IEMs, they have refined the quality on the faceplate designs and finishing. Your right the camera doesn’t pick up the nuances like the way the light hits it or the depth it has.
How does it compares to the Moondrop Variations?

I'm taking your suggestions into consideration. I can't decide between PULA PA02 and HYPE 4. My goal is to listen to music and play games. I will use it in my live broadcasts on Twitch. Which one do you think would be more suitable for me?
Hype 4, but I have the cklvx d41 (pula pa02 basically) as well and it’s a great value iem. You’ll be happy with either or.
Nice looking iem and with a sound profile that measures very similar to my current cheap favourite 7hz zero 2, I wonder if I’d notice much difference between them?, the nozzle width looks quite substantial and as I had issues with the Truthear zero nozzle width which is 6.3mm wide. If you have a vernier gauge can you measure the width?
The tip is 6mm, and the nozzle length is 5.4mm. The Zero 2 is a fantastic set, but the Hype 4 is a better performer and (at least for me) feels like a mini Monarch MK3. It’s also quite a bit more expensive, so if you’re happy with your Zero 2, don’t worry about the upgrade and enjoy what you have.

i type alot so quality is important, reliability too since most keys usually wobbly after certain time

Good review, good looking iem. I keep saying that the $2 case and the cables are not up to par. They could learn from oriveti or dunu.
Spot on. I ordered the white model and replaced the cable immediately with a Simgot LC7 cable to match both the color and add interchangeable terminations. Great IEM (honestly considering selling my Monarch MK3 as it makes it near redundant minus some improvements in the presence and air in the treble) with a terrible case and cable. I’d argue the tip selection is also poor. Another thing they can learn from Dunu.
Dunu absolutely on top with the extras, always been that way 🫡
How big are these compared to the Monarch MkIII? They look the same size on video.

Monarch MkIII is bigger. I can use Hype 4 for hours but not Monarch MkIII.
Yes Thieaudio has nice units for the price but I doubt you can send them in for repair as you can with 64 audio so therefore the are eventually through away iems.
And yet these are competitive with 64 audio for more than twice the price…..
@@AudioLevels What happens if these break 90 days into usage? Even the best companies have failures... I work in professional audio (DSP's, speakers (BOSE), and touch panels) and there are observed failures across every product line. A $1000 chi-fi IEM with zero warranty scares me a bit !
@@drewmorg. But it does have a warranty. 1 year on IEM's, 3 months on cables. Linsoul and Thieaudio have been praised numerous times in my comment section for honoring this,.

How would you compare em to the Xenns top?
You ask a very good question as thats more similar in terms of sound due to the driver config. The Hype are just that little bit better in every area, but those tops are far cheaper so its a matter of whether the minor refinements are worth the extra cost.

@@cine-ishsome prefer the hype 4 over the mega 5est, my guess is that they are similar performers. They measure very close too. If I had to guess the 5est is a bit smoother sounding.

ThieAudio shells are still too big. They'd sell more if they made the fit more universal.
Too peaky treble imo👎.. There's a lot of music in my library I can't stand to listen to with these. Everytime a new IEM comes out its ruined with cutting board treble 😔👎
you have S12 to compare? it has similar amount of treble?
