1. Never leave a battery terminal loose. Remove the bolt on the ring terminal and bend the tabs into their correct shape, then add washers behind the bike and nut to help keep the tabs flat.

Daihatsu was quite literally pushing the limits of what a kei car could be. What’s even funnier is it can carry more than a pickup truck 4x it size.

Welcome back! That thing is sick! Im going to guess something like nuetral safety switch causing your no start and the buzzing with ebrake. That backdoor is way better if your gonna do dogs out the back. Shelter from everything including sun :)

@@WaybeforethefameAlso, my dude says to check these bits btw: Ignition switch, the transmission range selector switch, starter, or starter solenoid. Daihatsu's solenoids are trash, so maybe start with a multimeter on those.

I love my 93 Classic walk-through. It has the bi fold doors in the rear which I like the look better than the overhead door because it's so unique. I also like the Classic round headlights too.

As a hardcore Miata guy the capp is cool and all but none of these kei 2 door kei cars will ever complete with a NA Miata. But I should have it till September

Truck wise, Daihatsu has a variant with a Steel Cargo Box with 2 Sliding side doors and Rear Hatch Door & Tailgate. Daihatsu is the only company that offers this cargo box configuration. It would give you rain protection for anything you haul, or allow you to make a neat camping mini house.
Daihatsu is one of the coolest companies its a shame we don't get the cars here in America

The visibility is like a Toyota Bb or Scion XB '04-'06

Yeah I think I like this rear hatch more too but I can see it also being annoying
It needs some window tint. In the summer it would get really hot without tint.
Have you had any experience with the Honda Vamos van? I've been trying to find information about them.
just notw import legal but its just a honda kei van with a nicer interior and some turbo
My walkthough didn’t have that ebrake problem. But the little dome light above the rear view mirror will stay on when you lock the school bus door

The school bus rear door is going to be much more convenient.
Daihatsu hijet jumbo or if you can find one, a super jumbo (it’s the same size as a Suzuki super carry)

@@Waybeforethefame the starter solinoid might be stuck, or it could be that it is broken loose and when u wiggle the posative it connects
Illegal to drive with the door open? Dunno how it's like in NY but all the stepvan drivers would be pretty unhappy..
NY will pull you over for anything, with the door open youre just asking for it

The walkthrough I don't believe so, that would mean someone in Japan 4wd swapped it. Some do a turbo swap
