99.99% of americans who own a kei truck own it because it's cute and very different and nobody else around has one, it makes you feel special or unique, every kei truck i ever saw on youtube is set up different, i seen atv wheels, geo metro wheels, offroad wheels, they put tracks on them sometimes even, bull bars, wenches, racks bed campers built from scratch, it's such a small truck it's easy to scoot around in them :)
This is my favorite in this great series. Many great looking kei trucks and vans here. Thanks for sharing. That gray Acty is what my Hijet will look like after I Monstaliner it this summer, but with a 2" lift and more of the off road look and feel. Can't wait for that.
I used to have an 04 STI, and that car turned its share of heads. It was nothing compared to my 93 Sambar, which apparently breaks every neck on the road. I was unprepared for how much attention it'd get! XD Just two days ago at a stoplight a guy yelled from 2 lanes over asking "How much did you pay for something like that?"
@@Waybeforethefame it can be anywhere, can try out cebu city, if locally on my side, province of bohol does have kei vehicles everywhere here, i suggest search the word multicab/mini van Philippines, its a gold mine, i even have a Suzuki DE51v as my city van :)

In different states there are limits on how fast these things are permitted to go (Florida's max speed is 35). Does law enforcement really even enforce these rules?

We went from a Mini Cooper to a new Tacoma. Mini too small, Tacoma too big, Kei truck is juuuust right.

You should try visit the Philippines, there are many kei trucks & vans modified as left hand drive use, they are everywhere here :)

i heard about that in Florida but also know people who live there and go on the interstate no problem. In NYC i go 80mph no problem

What’s the most you can put on the bed? I’m looking to purchase one for work but I would need to put 900lbs-1000lbs in the bed
900-1k will do it easily. not the best for long distance but it'll be okay
