    Not sure how much time you've put into this yet but something you could try with those two locks that the key doesn't work with - you can try putting the key you have in the lock, applying a bit of twisting tension on the key from the side and tap on the protruding end of the key with a hammer. This will put some kinetic force into the barrel and potentially "bump" the pins into position after a few knocks. The twisting tension on the barrel is also important because once the pins do jump into the correct position, the barrel will move enough past them to prevent them from crossing back over the sheer line again. Turns out I do learn stuff, thanks, lockpickinglawyer! :)

      A few videos after this one I ended up going through how to take the lock cylinders out and a locksmith did something to them to rekey them to the ignition key and were able to figure out the OEM key code to cut new keys out of blanks by code and they work great. They said it was based off of a Toyota Celica key code.

      I kinda got his car seat strapped in for a test and picked him up from school in it. It was great! However I don't like how the seat is attached so back to the drawing board.

    I have no idea why but i keep looking at this and thinking...could you fit a single small bed in it. remove the jumper seat, and run the bed segments from the dash all the way back. remove the front pillow/bedding fold it back and have access to the door again. use the pillows to form the back of a couch on the rest of the bed, pull down table, storage area behind the drivers seat Solar battery to power some kitchen things as well as lighting.
    hehe, sure you can't stand up but still, would make an interesting micro camper.

    • @AnythingWheeled
      @AnythingWheeled  วันที่ผ่านมา

      In regards to using this as a micro camper, It seems doable if you're doing it solo. I could get you the measurements around the cargo area to kind of lay out a floor plan if you would like to see.
      You know those vehicles with the high roof modifications? The ones where the top is cut off and a new taller fiberglass roof is put on. I don't see why that can't be done but it might make it a little more odd with the new proportions.
      The only thing is you would probably want a little more power, I'm addressing that in a future video since I have made other ones complaining about how slow this thing is. Keeping it stock, a tune up is very important to help bring it up to a tolerable output of power where you aren't a hazard on the road.

      @@AnythingWheeled don't even need to do the high roof or popup roof mod. yes it might be "short" inside, but look at tear drop trailers, they are short inside too. propane stove, propane buddy heater, jackery with portable panels you can set up outside.
      The least modifications you can do the lowest cost you can make :) and in this case if it can be done such that you can still use it as a cargo van by folding the bed, table and such out of the way... double points.

      @@AnythingWheeled "Hazard on the road" Ok in Canada there are 2 classes of highways. you have the 400 series main highways, and the 2 series secondary highways.
      to drive on a 400 series you need to be at least 80 kmph up to 100 kmph (50-60 mph)
      BUT to drive on a secondary, 2 series, the speed limit is 50 kmph min, 80kmph max (35-50 mph). Truth is, for a van like this' i'd prefer to keep it to the secondary highways.

    • @AnythingWheeled
      @AnythingWheeled  วันที่ผ่านมา

      @@jenniferstewarts4851 ah around my parts everyone loves to go fast even in the residential neighborhoods. Speed limit is 25mph (40kph?) but everyone is going 35-40mph. (70kph?) I can get to 65mph okay (105kph?)
      When I first got this I had a lot of trouble going from 0 to over 25-30kph. I would be at 20 or so for 6-7 seconds. So merging into the road that has people going 60kph is why I said it's a hazard.

    Just use 8 bungee tie downs for your kid's seat, on each corner of the ceiling and floor, and hang his seat in the middle of the space.
    I'm sure he'll _love_ the roller coaster ride!

    This van is awesome. Awesome color and rims, looks like it's a full panel van or vehicle. It probably would be even sicker if you add another carburetor if possible or a racing filter if you want to supe things up a bit. Yeah make the videos shorter if you can. Either way, awesome video. 👍🏼👍🏼

      I'm going to see what we can do with it as is but I think turbo is the way to go 😀
      I kinda wanna replace the squeaky corrugated plastic with wood panels.

      I believe it's more like 20 and that's really what it needs.. my Cappuccino can get out of its own way. My Cara is hopped up to 100 and moves well. Anything is better than what it is now with this tranny that wants to be in 3rd all the time.

    You should move the back up camera down at the bumper/license plate level. Weird to see directly at the ground.

    • @AnythingWheeled
      @AnythingWheeled  2 หลายเดือนก่อน

      Good idea. I wonder why they didn't just route it through the door harness to the license plate lights. I can look into that eventually.
