Excellent video... thank you! Subscribed! I'll be picking up my 82 Burro in about a month, and I would like to install a window AC unit in one of the side windows above the bed. Can you pls tell me what the general interior dimensions (inside the aluminum frame please) so I can tell if it will fit? Thank you so much. I am watching all of your vids... so awesome that you documented this transformation. Your attention to detail is amazing! 💞💞
Thanks for subscribing! Sorry i can not find file with dimension! I thought i saved on pc. Might be somewhere in video though…. Good luck on your Burro!
As far as we measured and looked, Scamp windows do not fit Burro. Many Burro owners also said same thing. Of course, we could make it fit if needed to, but the work was not worth it.
Thank you for this video. Very helpful. I am glad to see that someone makes a rear window in the Burro that opens! Is Motion Windows the only company you know that makes them? I spoke to them.. But I need to know the exact dimensions of the opening, not the window! Don't really want to remove it . Did you by chance measure the opening when you had yours out? My Burro is a 1982.
Motion Window is only place near WA. Didn’t really look beyond that. Unfortunately, i cant find any measurements written down. But i highly suggest measuring your own opening. It seems that its different from year to year and individual too. You dont want to assume others measurement is same as yours since its non refundable. They also said that some has curved window and some doesnt. If we ever get new windows from them, we are gonna take our Burro down there and have them measure it.
Thanks again for taking the time to make these videos. I have a question about what you used to divert water from the door. I’m sitting in my trailer working on it and Oregon and I have a decent amount of water come running down the roofline every time I open the door. Is it just white foam weather stripping?
Its plastic rain gutter. It works well. Heres link. Trim-Lok Drip Rail, White - 1/2” Height, 25’ Length - PVC Plastic Rain Gutter for Cars, Vans, and RVs, Easy to Install Flexible Drip Rail Molding to Control Water Runoff, Durable 3M Tape Included a.co/d/fE0U0pk
I imagine you did a better job on the windows than a shop, since you are personally invested in the process. They look really good
Thank you

Again, it looks great!! Thanks for filming it all, I'm going to try to clean up my windows, wish me luck😉
Thanks, and good luck, it's not as bad as it seems
Why did yall get a quote from motion for the windows instead of using scamp windows?
