If it weren’t for me discovering every day stoic or stoicism in the past several months, I honestly do not think I would be alive. I was in the hospital for two months with Covid and still on oxygen. Just prior to that I lost my job because of Covid, my ex girlfriend left are you and a half ago with my two-year-old daughter and has pretty much disappeared so I haven’t spoken to my daughter nor seen her, my ex-wife did The exact same thing 10 years ago with my son and I haven’t seen him in nine years as they have moved out of country. After losing the job I had to move in with my folks because I have been on oxygen and my father is in alcoholic and my mother has dementia. I have been alone which has caused some loneliness to be candid over the past couple of months. There’s more but I won’t share. I’m thankful to live through what I have, as difficult as it may be. “ if you’re going through hell, keep going” 🙏🏼
Saying "I am calm" when you are not will only make you more weak... it will draw in the back of you that feeling more... it's best to push yourself till a calm is found through the endurance and then you can live comfortably in what was firstly hard... Unless it is truly bad, then form a team to help you change it.
