I find salt and smoke cleansing quite interesting since they can be found in all cultures and traditions I've encountered in one shape or another. My hypothesis is that these two are among the oldest forms of cleansing, not only due to its pervasiveness in the historical record but also due to many other cleansing methods being associated with cleaning, while salt and smoke are associated with food preservation. Of course, only my own hypothesis. Also, a silly yet effective shower cleansing if you are on the road or in a hurry; tie a tea bag to the shower nozzle or tap.

Weird one for a modern spin: using a shredder to destroy old spellwork instead of fire when you have one. Modern solutions for a modern practitioner. I still burn things but it impacts my cat so it's an occasional thing since I'm restricted to only practicing in my bedroom The resultant mulch can be used to make compost and therefore purified in returning to the earth. 😉
Cleansing with a cleansing spray and a few moments of meditations before drawing a daily Oracle card clears the energy of the room and centers me. I have many pets and a husband with asthma, so smoke cleansing is a rarity.
Such a wonderful explanation of cleansing! I love that you gave the reasons why people who work with energy should start cleansing as I feel that can be glossed over in some resources

Another great video! I think it's good to try out a few different practices and see what works best for you and for the situation. Sometimes I use incense, sometimes window washes, and sometimes Earth burial (always in a raised planter bed that I built!), sometimes I do long ceremonies with my partner and sometimes I just do something quick on my own.
Great overview! I'm a big fan of water cleansing when I can, especially if I can get to a natural river. This winter I've been experimenting with snow melt and having good results. :)
Good evening DawnOfAngels, I have been lacking of not knowing what to do or steps to take for me to be on the right path mentally, spiritually to and physically, they let me know I was a glorious child, I came to this world with a lot of blessings and I’m blessed with natural spiritual abilities and innermost powers, but the witchcraft perform a spell on me and I remember. I was 18 years old, which has been affecting me and blocking my spiritual abilities and delaying my blessings, this same spell is the reason why life has been hard on me in some ways as my blessings didn't come the way the universe has it in plan for me. This spell has left a dark spirit and cloud on my soul which has been hindering me getting to know my innermost purpose and powers, I should have been more great and achieve in life more than my current life if not for the spell and that's why I need to break it.
