I vaguely remember a superstition that if you break something (f.e. a mug) and then you throw/wipe the pieces over your shoulder it would cause good luck. Several of the things you mentioned are also common where I live (Belgium).

Thanks for all the book tips! I personally enjoyed Rebel Witch by Kelly-Ann Maddox a lot as a beginner book on witchcraft practice. I'm also a big fan of Sigil Witchery that you mentioned in the other video.

If you're interested in learning more about the Qabalah absolutely check out Chicken Qabalah by Lon Milo DuQuette. That book has been instrumental in helping me understand some really key occult concepts. Genuinely cant recommend it enough.

Yes but there is Traditional witchcraft and traditional witch with a little “t”. Anyone who claims to follow the old ways capital T I respect but I don’t know how accurate that would be without maybe potentially access to that information . I do flow a little t traditional witchcraft using as much as we can with modern infusion . Bioregional and blend I do agree heavily .

Blind witch tip: Use braille characters, decide which character means what to you, stick with it, use a pen to carve the character into a candle, doesn’t matter if it it is straight or not, you know your intention with it, it’s also great for making sogils, say the character f is what you write, if you want to use f for more than one purpose, first write the letter, or even 2 letters, and then use whatever marking you want, carve it through or around the characters. It really helps . The way we use sigils won’t be the same as a sighted person, it’s the intent when you make it that is most important.

you still have snakes :) i saw in one video that ireland has none left, they said some guy called patrick killed them. probably not, everybody knows black robes hate going outside (the sun would turn them to dust). they did kill a lot of species to extinction, but it was much earlier there (here it was actually in just the last 300 years that they shot all the big animals, wolves and bears). snakes are pretty good at hiding though, that´s probably what has saved them.

I'm from Chester. We have a small shrine to Minerva here at the side of the River Dee running through the city and which is the ohysical representation of the goddess (although it's actually to Coventina/Cyfendyna and was claimed by the Romans as Minerva). We also have a small stelae shrine to Cernnunos in a wood at the edge of the city. At about 20km east We have an extremely old forest (Delamere) which had votive wells used by Celtic and possibly Beaker or Cucutenni warriors.

There are tons and tons of books of "how to work/meet/honnor the gods" and so little on land spirits. When we are local magick practionners those spirits are the most direct ally we have.

I really need some help.And maybe some advice I did a protection candle and the candle did some crazy non gravitational things. I have pictures of it And it's quite concerning

I think that most of the confusion around pegan or polytheistic beliefs in general is that there’s been such a prevalence of institutionalised, monotheistic practices that the aspect of finding your own path and practicing in your own way seems foreign to a lot of people. When you get used to following a certain scripture or religious leader a lot of the individual motivations get washed down imo - so you essentially have to relearn how to follow your intuition and find your own path outside of a rigid structure of rules and traditions not to mention the culture of these faiths. Kind of sad if you ask me

In USA people should really start practicing personal protection and defensive spells as witches will become targets eventually after Trump takes power again. Also abortion spells for oneself and to help others will be valuable.

I don't know if I'm just lazy but I don't get into complicated or expensive spells or offerings. I enjoy my prayers offerings spells more if I don't stress out and keep it rather simple. I'm not a beginner but I like to keep it simple. I do wonder what you do about burning a candle, even a tealight takes awhile to burn down and I don't like to leave candles alone. I have used birthday candles because I can do my spell and they don't take long to burn down so I can keep an eye on it.💖
