    As a Crone, you get to the point where you don't need "stuff" anymore. One gets their tools from the spirit world...🎑

    I think the advice about minerals/rocks/crystals is so important! As much as I love pretty gems and crystals, some of the most potent stones I have are the ones that I’ve picked up on hikes, walks by the river, or even just around my neighbourhood. They’re imbued with the land energy of my area, as well as the memories I have tied to finding them, and best of all, they’re abundant, cruelty-free, sustainable, and cost nothing 😊🪨

      Yes exactly! They hold such a personal meaning, it's beautiful

      I have a lot of crystals but I prefer to use petrified wood. I have found all of what I have and it has so much energy for me. It is stronger than any crystals I have. Thanks great video.

    We need to make sure that budget-friendly is also environmentally-friendly and/or ethically sourced. I'm very close to giving up on candles altogether. Paraffin candles are terrible for the environment since they are a petroleum byproduct, and even soy candles usually result in monoculture farming, which, again, is bad for the earth. I like beeswax candles, but in the US, we have to be careful not to let the European honeybee out-compete our native bees.

    I get a lot of my witchy supplies at HomeSense and they sell a lot of things that I wouldn't be able to afford (or justify paying full price for). These include candles, various dishes for offerings, a gorgeous wooden bowl, mortar/pestle, table (altar) cloths, you name it! I also found that I already own a ton of great things that I collected over the years or were gifted to me, some of which made zero sense at the time but are now tools I use all the time.

    Yes yes ! Packs of a hundred tea light on Vinted for 1€ (other people don't want stuff anymore). "Le bon coin" in France for used tools. Jewelry box for a Karma Box. It's all about re using (and focusing on the intention instead of the tools). But pretty things do exist and we all want some of them sometimes ☺️

    Oh my … I absolutely loved this video, thank you so much 🙏😊 you totally inspired me! Yeah we can make so many things ourselves. Personally I love to redecorate little boxes (decoupage)…mainly wood, you can do anything with that and transform them into your own self made witchy box. Or if you find yourself some nice wooden pieces of wood in the forest, they could make perfect runes.
    And concerning herbs or plants from the supermarket, if they are in a pot, you can perfectly grow the plants again, and even then… there are TH-cam videos where they show how you can grow herbs/plants from one single leaf or flower or whatever.
    Plus the glass pots indeed I could transform too…. With decoupage there are so many possibilities.
    I will be going to the forest as well to get some things there.
    I already read digitally and mostly it costs a lot less money than an actual book.
    My mom and sister have birds and when their birds loose their feathers, I ask them some, so I can use it as my air element. Or if you go to animal park where there are beautiful birds and some care taker is just passing by, you can ask them for a feather that fell.
    Or just in the forest off course or where you happen to pass by.
    An old beautycase I didn’t use anymore will be my apothecary 😊 love it!
    I started witchcraft just last month and I have a lot to learn but in my heart I have always been and I,see it in my daughter too and her love for nature. I can only hope she follows but it is her own choice.
    There is this saying in my family on my mom’s side: what do I have and what can I do with it?
    This phrase says it all right? 😉🙏❤️

    Really good I remember when you first start getting stuff you want it all. Sweets in a sweet shop so as to speak. As you become more adept you realise it's about the magick and all the collections become null and void this is a great video for showing you dont have to pay out loads to practise. Only if you join a Coven you would have to own certain tools but yes well done on covering this will aid a lot of practitioners Halsa Valang👍⚡💫

    In case someone looks for it.. I believe the store "action" has stores in some cities in Germany, Belgium and the Netherlands. As for the western Mediterranean like Portugal, País Galego, Euskadi, Katalunya, Andalusia you can find similar products in Chinese stores for the materials and Arabic stores for the plants/spices and the like.

    I learned of your channel recently from a witchy discord server I’m in, and have been watching a bunch of videos yesterday and today. I’m loving everything I’m seeing so far! Especially the imposter syndrome and daily practices ones. I’ve been in a rut this year with my practice, and they inspired me to get back into it again.
    As for this video, an inexpensive thing to do is use birthday candles. They come in a bunch of different colors, don’t cost much, and will burn out faster so you don’t have to keep watch over them as long

      I'm so glad! And yes!! Birthday candles are great for magick.

    Have you done a video on how to make your own correspondences? I live in Florida so it’s really hard to relate to the ‘tradition’ meanings from Northern Europe.

    Hi Ari. I am so happy that I recently found your channel!. I am glad to see that you speak about many issues that play an important role, like being on a budget, which are issues that are often purposely or not purposely ignored by many other "similar" channels.
    I really appreciate your efforts for making everyone participate and be able to use the knowledge you spread. Best regards, Lior

    Could one take the handle off a frying pan and make it a cauldron?

    • @TheOakWitch
      @TheOakWitch  10 หลายเดือนก่อน

      I would probably advise against taking off the handle as that's a safety feature! You don't want to burn yourself. If you think about it, cooking pots/pan are our modern day cauldrons anyway! It kind of depends on what you intend to use it for that will determine whether or not it's safe

    hi, sorry but i've very desperate for an answer.. pls help. so i just started learning about witchcraft a couple days ago, i have arachnophobia and i just saw the biggest spider i've ever seen in the bathroom right before i showered. i'm getting a book delivered tomorrow to start researching but should i stop before going any further or is it just a coincidence since i live in arizona where spiders are prone to appear in?

    • @TheOakWitch
      @TheOakWitch  3 ปีที่แล้ว +5
