My instructor did Akido and taekwondo and he now teaches karate. Some of the kicks we learn are very “taekwondo esc” kicks but the kadas are definitely karate oriented

When your doing any combos solo or with a partner never look down. Practice means everything your eyes always look down. Go forward stay forward look down go down.
