- It's Jamuary2024 .... Hey Ho!
One Month of daily Music. Wonderful.
Today is the day. Actually yesterday, but yesterday didn't work out, so today.
So: today is the day! Here is my Pro VS Mini Jam.
Ok, ok... maybe it's not quite what you imagined. But please let me explain.
Since the Pro-VS has been in my hands, I have tried and tested a lot with it. However, one thing didn't make sense to me: what exactly does R1 - R4 mean and what is 0-3. These were phenomena that I had to decipher.
Yesterday was now the day. It was actually very simple and yet I really struggled with it. Did you want to hear the solution? No, .... I don't want to spoil your fun. Just this much: If you understand what R1-R4 means in connection with =-3, then you can do incredible things with the Pro-VS, which seems so boring at first glance. I can assure you: It's not boring, not at all.
Now I've started designing my own patches and you'll hear one of these patches in Jam today. Pay attention to the drift. I love this feature in Pro-VS.

What is this #Jamuary everyone is talking about?
When I started jamming in 2017, I had no idea how much this type of composition would accompany me in the years to come. Today 6 years later I have become part of a strong and family community that includes all kinds of people. I am always amazed at how friendly and courteous everyone is with each other and how objective and constructive the discussions are. I would like to thank you for that.
Of course, this community also includes great artists. Artists who not only created music but also launched great projects in the form of challenges.
One of these projects is the annual #Jamuary launched by @truecuckoo. The goal is to jam every day in January. Of course you can also share your creations with the community. It's a big challenge to find time for music every day.
This year I'm taking part for the 5th time and I hope I can do it.

Most of the Time I am using the Specular Reverb v3 for my jams.
Sometimes the NTS-1 with the Cathedral Preset or just the iPad. - เพลง
Apparently the smartphone had the wrong focus, so the Pro-VS is unfortunately out of focus. I apologize for that.

That sounds great! I placed an order for one of these last week. I bought the NTS-1 last year and have had fun with it, but want something with more control w/o needing a computer to hand. It's due around Easter!

I didn't keep mine but I think these things are well built. The case and knobs felt really nice and the thing has basically no background noise. It just can't do portamento and monophonic. Bummer. I can't wait for the Mini Mini Boog. I'll probably keep that one. I absolutely want to try it

Awesome stuff Mr. Niced. I've not dug too deeply into my ProVS - I think I understand the R1-4 but can't recall seeing the 1-3 😅😅
It's the rotation path .... find it in FUNC + MIX (13) press the Button serveral times for more options.
Cant wait for mine to show up, affordable quality synths are the best thing to happen in a long time.

It sounds amazing bud. I can't wait to get mine. I've just ordered the Behringer Wasp deluxe. Only £133 at the moment. Behringer have released some lovely gear recently at an amazing price. I would have definitely rated this machine at £200. What do you think Mr Niced?
... it's worth the money.. but there are some issues in handling do no .. it's not a 150 or 200 Eur Gear. .. example? There is a tempo knob and a display.. jut you don't get the information about the tempo on the display... Good job Behringer...

Tbh thats an issue in the recording I recognised recently. Don't know maybe the go Mixer lost the connection to the power adapter ..

Why doesn't anybody use the joystick in any TH-cam videos. Surely this was what made wavetable synths the deal in the first place. It sweeps the sound tone in 4 mix directions. I believe it's poorly implemented.
It's also possible to program a path the sound should use between the 4 positions .... As I do in this video.v
Yes, you are actually supposed to program the vectors in. Allows for 4 vectors and 1 extra for release. So you can clearly see here he has it looped. Sounds amazing.
