Omg thank you so much for doing this video. I've been trying to see a realistic version of this place.

It’s not an apt hunting vid without the classic opening a window, “good airflow”, then struggling to close it 😂

I'm curious. Didn't you just move to SF? Are you looking for a new apartment already?

Appreciate the question! I am actually making this video for everyone here :). When I was looking for apartments online before i moved, I really wished I was able to check out stuff like sounds or surroundings for these apartments but couldn't when I was in LA.
So here I am! (I also secretly enjoyed checking out these apartments hehe)

@@createbyamy hey! this content is super helpful btw. i have to move up there soon from socal and i've been looking at different apartment videos trying to figure out if i want to live in rincon hill or not.
QQ: how would you feel the neighborhood is around that area? people say it might be boring/hard to meet people since i would be on the outskirts of the city

@@createbyamy Great idea! I'm sure it was fun to check out luxury apartments, but I think the place you got was pretty nice. Hope you enjoy living in SF. I went to college there and love the City.

@@Imjonny264 Honestly it does indeed depend on how close you like to be to the action (e.g. busy streets, restaurants, etc). If you check google maps (and as I walked around), I definitely felt like there were not too many restaurants within walking distance and it does seem pretty quiet with not a lot of people on the streets (since it's mostly high rise office/residential buildings).
However, if you do really like the apartment buildings in Rincon Hill, you can always still take the bus to different neighborhoods to meet up with friends. It just might take longer e.g. 30-40 minutes to get to the restaurant somewhere else by bus.
There are a lot of restaurants people choose to go to on Polk Street, Mission neighborhood, Hayes Valley neighborhood for reference so you can try mapping yourself to places there to realistically see if you're willing to take the bus to get there every time (or obv if you have a car it'll be quicker or if you uber/lyft/taxi).
      Hope that's helpful!

@@beccacarrillo Aw thank you! Wow do you have any recommendations of things to do or restaurants to go to that you would definitely enjoy going again if you're back in the city?
